Rosies In The Park — Restaurant in Sherwood Park

NEVER EVER AGAIN! First we were unfortunate enough to be sat where I could see into the kitchen. .it was discussing. Big gobs of greasy dust hanging off the walls, one of the cooks was super busy stuffing her face with everything she was supposed to be cooking and then to top it off the 3 ppl in there couldn't even manage to put the garnish on our burgers.. instead our waiter whom had been handling cash and various other unsanitary items used his unwashed hands to put lettus, tomato and onions on our buns GROSS! He then proceeded to throw mustard and relish packs on our plate.. now maybe it doesn't occur to most but can u imagine just how many unclean hands have handled those nice little packs GROSS! I did eat a few bites of my fries in effort to not make a scene in front of the elderly family we were with but left about 95% of what was on my plate untouched. The waiter must be used to taking that much back to the kitchen because when he cleared my plate didn't bother to ask if there was something wrong or even if I wanted it wrapped up. This was my first time going to Rosie’s and I was very disappointed.

Stacy the manger treated myself and many other guests very disrespectfully.

I would like to start off by saying I was the sober driver this night. We live 20 minutes away and we were looking for a karaoke bar to go to. As per the website it says open till 2am on Saturdays. We showed up at midnight. A bunch of others were already outside complaining how Stacy was shutting down the place early because “she wanted to”. I am unsure if this is a regular occurrence that she shuts this place down early despite there being multiple people who still wanted to be there and the place still being busy. There were at least 25 people still in the bar. We asked why they were closing and she was very short tempered, rude and confrontational. I can't speak to the service or the atmosphere, since I ordered delivery, but the meal that arrived at my doorstep was such a wonderful experience that I felt compelled to leave this review. You know when a meal just warms you from the inside out? It's comforting. That's what this food was for me. I had the BLT sandwich with Caesar salad and mashed potatoes and gravy, with an iced tea. Every bite was bursting with flavour, the food was appropriately warm and the drink was refreshingly cold, and I haven't had a more perfect meal in a long time. Simple; but sometimes, that's all you really need. Thank you to the staff on this day that brought me this delicious late lunch, my delicate senses are forever grateful. I will be ordering from here again when I desire a hot comforting hug in the form...
