My husband and I came for brunch here (it’s a fusion location, inside the New Asian Village). If you want a properly incredible brunch, YOU MUST come here. We have recently been to Toast, Pur and Simple, Hathaways, OEB, which of course are all really good, but this brunch blew them away in quality, flavour and price point. Monika was very welcoming and suggested we try the two breakfast specials. My husband had the smoked brisket skillet with eggs, and I had the smoked pulled pork benny. I cannot explain how good both dishes were, you have to try them. Monika let us know they smoke the meat in house, and the flavours were absolutely incredible. The portions were massive and really affordable, especially for the quality of the ingredients. You can pay a lot more elsewhere for a far less enjoyable meal. I couldn’t finish my Benny, and it was some of the best leftovers I’ve ever had 😂 You can order off either menu, brunch or Indian, so convenient for people with different cravings :) I can’t wait to go back!

Had the spicy chicken bowl. It came on a hot cast iron platter. That is actually better to keep the hash browns hot and crispy, just the way I like it. Because of my own health reasons, I had to cancel the hollandaise sauce :( . Still it was very good without it. Not spicy enough for my taste, but for the masses, it's probably the right level. So for the regular person, with the hollandaise sauce on it, it would be just superb. I'm looking forward to trying other fusion breakfasts here. Edit: I went back to try the butter chicken scrambler. It was hash browns onions and cheese topped with butter chicken. It worked very well. This was also on a hot cast iron platter. The amount of chicken was impressive. Probably double the amount of any chicken and pasta dish you would pay $20+. This was only $14.99.

I just had an awesome breakfast experience at Sunny Side Up Breakfast inside New Asian Village Sherwood Park this morning. My skillet meal came sizzling hot and more than expected - lots of large bits of sausage, onions, peppers and hash browns smothered with generous cheesy goodness. The eggs were perfect as ordered. The sourdough toast was both crispy and chewy. I'm even impressed with the coffee quality, which is so rare. The service was cheerful and friendly. Even though quite busy when we came, we never waited long for anything. Kudos to the staff and chefs here! I'll be back for more.

The server which i believe was a manager was making a big deal that my Aunt told her the wrong number of people. She was 1 short. We asked if we could put a chair at the end of our table as it was in the corner and not in the way, she had no issues with it but continued to complain that she wasn't told. It was an honest mistake. They reached across us with hot coffee to pour it while we were eating. At the end we were asked how the food was, I said it was ok and she made excuses as to why It should have been more than ok and couldn't understand why I was only saying it was ok. Then proceeded to talk about us to the hostess which was very obvious. I would not recommend this place. Thank you for getting back to me. I’d like to clarify a few points regarding our recent visit.

While we understood the BLT would consist mostly of cold, fresh items, our concerns extended beyond just that dish. I also ordered the fried chicken, but what was served appeared to be tandoori chicken. It wasn’t bad by any means, but it was not what one would typically expect when ordering fried chicken.

Additionally, it seems there may have been some confusion regarding your manager’s comment about offering complimentary ice cream. That did not happen in our case — we were only met with explanations/excuses when we shared feedback about the food.

To be clear, we never said the food was terrible. It was simply okay — nothing stood out in particular. It was the service that lacked in our experience.

Regarding service, I appreciate your acknowledgment of the incident involving the coffee. However, I want to stress that reaching over children as young as five to serve coffee is not appropriate and dangerous.

Lastly, I can assure you the conversation your staff were having pertained to our table, as it was evident from the context and remarks made.

I’m usually someone who believes in giving places a second chance — everyone has an off day. However, when a manager isn’t forthcoming about what actually happened and omits key details and lies about what they did to make it better, it makes me feel unwelcome and disinclined to return.

Thank you again for taking the time to listen. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for...

We were looking for a good breakfast place to eat at. The reviews looked pretty decent as well had Indian food. Upon arrival we were seated the server didn’t give us the menus, and instantly asked what we wanted coffee or chai.

Service - Horrible, didn’t get menus, server looked very inexperienced

Food - This place is also a buffet with new Asian village. The food was very mediocre food was warm, just not authentic Indian cuisine whatsoever, chai was warm and had no spices or flavour. I ordered a butter chicken skillet again no flavour, just very plain and fatty. I’m assuming they use the buffet left overs for the breakfast.

Atmosphere - this place made me so uncomfortable, with very weird and snarky comments made to another customer. Management looks pretty toxic and unprofessional.

I don’t usually leave bad reviews but please AVOID this place. Everything needs to be fixed. Money was...
