McDonald's — Restaurant in Sherwood Park

Re: new re-fit at Base Line Store....checked out the new re-fit at this store after a two week closure...needless to say huge disappointment.....obviously designed to discourage in store enjoyment of food, drink or both. Still have cheap plastic furniture that is uncomfortable and would discourage anyone, (except small children) to sit and eat or drink or both. Still no blinds, curtains or drapes on East facing windows which again discourage anyone young or old from sitting in that area of store due to hot sunshine bearing down. Both televisions also removed which seems senseless but again you don't want people sitting there watching the news or sports or whatever happens to be on television while enjoying their bfast and or lunch. Only real improvement is lower counter where customers wait for their order(s) but obvious extra space designed to accommodate those that are waiting for their food. Most disconcerting overall.Only real improvement will only be to the Owners tax return given that he/she can write-off the new construction as a legitimate tax expense. Unfortunate that this has to be done to the chagrin of customer satisfaction which is not necessarily related to enjoyment of food etc alone. As an aside the staff at this location are terrific and they are the ones having to listen to the complaints. I'm moving on to Tims down the road where I can sit and enjoy a decent environment with tables that are not anchored to the floor and will accommodate more than...

Disappointed with my visit. Placed on online(McDonald's app) order, arrive to pick up my meal at 5:40. Counter pick-up and curb side pick-up were grayed out in the app...only drive through was available, BUT, the restaurant had decided to put pylons in front of the drive thru so no vehicles could enter.(I assume it so that the "24 hr" McDonald's didn't get dinged by the franchise for not being "OPEN" 24 hrs) I decided to back up through the exit and pull up to the window. An employee asked me to move because they had a delivery arriving soon. They asked me to park out front. I told them I had a mobile order, they said 5-8 min...18 min later they came out with my food. I understand if you don't have the staff to man the counter/drive-through 24 hrs...but don't play the system to make it look like your open just to avoid corporate fines or something... Once again, I'm not sure why they couldn't/wouldn't serve me or the 5 other customer that drove away, but if they would have just been honest that they were closed and couldn't serve, I probably wouldn't have waited around a total of 23 min for a couple breakfast sandwichs and a coffee...worst part was, I asked if I could have some free bacon on my sandwich for the wait and the employee said he would "try his best"...but not a single piece of bacon was offered as...

I just ordered through Uber for a midnight snack for my friends and I. I ordered a pineapple mango smoothie, a poutine, 10 chicken nuggets and two mc chickens (as a part of the buy one, get one deal for the mc chicken on Uber). When I opened the bag, I was beyond disappointed. The first thing I noticed was that instead of a poutine, I was given fries. Next, I quickly realized that I had been given only one mc chicken which I wasn’t completely disappointed by since I had only paid the price of one, however it got worse once I opened the mc chicken box. The sandwich almost looks like someone had taken a bite out of it?? How does this even happen?? I am both immensely disappointed and disgusted. The last thing, I was missing the two sauces for the chicken nuggets. I must say, the chicken nuggets themselves were okay and so was the smoothie but honestly, I can confidently say that I will NEVER be ordering from this mc Donald’s again. I understand that this isn’t a high end restaurant and I am not looking for a five star meal when ordering from here, but the experience I had today was beyond atrocious. Not even the worst of restaurants or fast food chains should be okay with serving a paying customer a meal such as the one I had....
