Visited for the first time tonight! The food was excellent (beef stuffed Yorkshire puddings) and the service was really good. The decor was overall excellent and I did feel like I was in a relatively British pub. Just a couple of suggestions as I’ve spent the past 5 years living in Britain: 1) the bathroom signs in pubs in Britain are all for “toilets” not “the loo”, 2) shepherd’s pie has lamb, whereas cottage pie has beef, and 3) you need a much larger gin menu. Gin is the trendiest spirit in Britain; pop over to Brothers and pick up some Gordon’s and Whitley Neill and you’re halfway there. Gordon’s, Whitley Neill in a couple of flavours; Gunpowder, and Hendricks and you’ve covered your bases. The house gin in every pub in Britain, from Land’s End to Orkney is Gordon’s, not Bombay. And finally, 4) Pimm’s Cups do not have gin in them! It’s Pimm’s, lemonade, ginger ale/sprite and fruit.

If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, look no further than Sherlock Holmes Sherwood Park! From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the cozy yet refined atmosphere, which perfectly sets the stage for an exceptional meal. But what truly made this visit stand out was the extraordinary service provided by Jamie.

Jamie was an absolute gem—attentive, warm, and effortlessly knowledgeable about the menu. Her suggestions were spot on, and she took the time to ensure that every aspect of our meal was perfect. It’s rare to come across someone who combines professionalism with such a genuine passion for hospitality. Jamie made us feel like VIPs, always one step ahead in making sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive.

If you’re lucky enough to be served by Jamie, you’ll understand why this restaurant is so special. Very nice patio! Since everything is patio base the importance of that got bumped up a notch too

Clean concrete, still a TV outside along with some nice barrels of flowers outside

Inside was nice too but the walk from door to patio isn’t enough to comment on

Food: Salmon salad with the honey Tyme vinaigrette. Very nice take on a balsamic with less acidic sharpness than most dressings

Bacon Mac n cheese. Such a nice change for real cheese with a roux instead of just melted cheese. Had bangers added on and it was a nice addition

Drinks: Tried the berry sangria and it was fantastic. One of the better ones around

Service: Nice server! Very polite and genuine smile. Engaging and on top of things despite working alone from what I could see. Also took extra time and effort to bring the heater to our table as it began to rain, even without being asked!

This may be a chain but from the other Sherlock locations this is by far a stand out in food quality.
