We stopped in for breakfast a couple days ago... There aren't a lot of options to eat breakfast in Sooke, so this was our third choice, with the other two being closed. When we arrived there was one employee serving and the owner cooking. Seemed a long wait for service, but the staff is friendly and our breakfast came quickly. Two more staff arrived and as the place is so small, you could hear all the business talk quite plainly. Facility was cold. Meals served on disposable plates (COVID?).
Breakfast was good. Very basic cooking here and the prices are in line with that level of basic meals. Nothing fancy, just reasonably priced fare served by nice people.

Read moreI have tried eating here a few times. We are new to Sooke and were excited to try a local place. I have to say though I have been disappointed every time. The food is decent but on every occasion we have been greeted in a very negative manner.    Read moreI've Been excited to try this place for about 8 months and I woke up this morning craving a Salmon Benny. I walked down there with my dog I made my order on the phone from outside and the guy told me it would be 15 minutes and that they would call my name from the back window. I walked my dog for 10 more minutes came back and sat down. I was never told to identify myself at the window and sat there waiting for 15 minutes. At the 25 minute mark I walked up to the window and asked if my eggs Benny was going to be much longer and they said it had been ready sitting and waiting for 10 minutes and that I should have come up to the window when I was sitting just outside. The guy at the counter was kind of rude about it and made it seem like I was an inconvenience to him which furthered the sour taste in my mouth....
