Christopher's Pub — Restaurant in South Industrial District

The food was very tasty (total pub offerings). I really liked the deep fried chicken skin (gross sounding I know but oh so tasty!). That was part of the "big" appetizer plate my friends ordered, besides wings and the other usual offerings...

I had pork spring rolls to start (totally delish) followed by the ubiquitous open face hamburger plate (gravy, onion, and mushroom topping). Also extremely delish.

My only quibble is that the tap choices sucked (those who know my other reviews know my beer discrimination). Tap beer was restricted to certain Big Rock choices.and yes, they were the."lacking" ones (Grasshopper, etc.) in my opinion.

Fortunately, their bottled selection is quite excellent in that I was able to enjoy a few bottles of Granville Island "Infamous" IPA along with my hamburger steak.

Service was attentive although food delivery took a lot longer than I thought permissible considering that the pub, although 3/4 full, wasn't THAT busy.

Still,...

This is mine and my husband's new spot to go to for drinks and food. The staff is great, and very honest, the 1st time we were there my husband accidentally tipped the waitress 500% instead of $5 lol she ran after us as we were leaving to let us know what happened. The food is amazing!! Best deep fried dill pickles in the city 😋 fries are always crispy and tasty. The menu is totally out there haha but we also come back because of it, we HAVE to try everything on the menu! Lol. We highly recommend...

I’ve been a regular here since 2022. The unique atmosphere of the bar is what initially caught my eye; it’s very uniquely designed with the vintage photos. IMO the cleanest bar/pub in Edmonton. Doesn’t feel “dingy” like a lot of other places in YEG.

The staff, people and karaoke kept me coming back! My favourite thing to eat here is the noodle bowl.🤤

It’s a great crowd and great place to meet new people. Food prices are a little high for me to justify sometimes, but the excellent service...
