Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Southeast

It was alright. Definitely didn't live up to the hype I've seen online.

Not all food options were available sadly. Wanted to try the new item, didn't have it. Wanted black beans. They didn't have any available. And then you add that they have a drive thru so staff are split between the two. And then the worst part. The invisible line. The skip the dishes orders which slow it down heavily.

The burrito was uneven. First bites were all rice and beans, then sour cream/guac and lettuce. Then rice and chicken. The temperature throughout my burrito was weird too. Some bites being ice cold and then some luke warm where my chicken was.

The price point was a bit absurd for the quality and quantity. For 3 people it was $52.

Not a lot of seating inside, and what was available wasn't very clean. There was food residue from previous guests on most tables.

There are definitely more local non chain options available. The experience is not spectacular and...

Went in today and spent $55 for 4 meals. We usually go to a different location and this is our second time at this one. They really cheaped out on the portions. My husband got 8 pieces of meat and was told he has to spend more money to get more meat !!! We just got home. My young kids finished their meals in under 10 minutes.. horrible small portions. No wonder every time we drive by there it’s dead there ….. no one wants to over pay and get ripped off for these small portions. Also, a lot of staff are not trained correctly. When we went in, we had different people serving us and not all options were offered to us when making our cheap small bowls. Will not be going to this location anymore, heading to Calgary Trail next, i would rather make the extra 10 minute drive for proper portions and properly...

This is the worst Chipotle in Edmonton! The staff here have no respect for food safety or for customers. They wear one pair of gloves and use the same ones to clean, touch dirty things, and then serve food,,that is disgusting! They don’t even bother to change gloves. Do they not understand hygiene?

No smile, no “thank you,” no manners at all. The person serving food looked angry and rude, like they hate their job. With that kind of attitude, how can anyone feel comfortable eating here? After I ate, I actually felt sick,that’s how bad it was.

This location is a complete disaster. The management should be ashamed. They seriously need new staff or proper training because this is not how food service should be. I will never come back to this...
