Dream Tea — Restaurant in Southeast

Not bad but not great.

There are a lot of options, but maybe too many as it's difficult to understand what the difference is between 6 different types of milk tea? Perhaps having a short description for drinks that are not easily apparent would be helpful.

At the time we came a few of the toppings/alternative milk were sold out which was disappointing. Also the drinks we got were very sweet, not sure if there was an option to adjust the sugar level as there was no signage and we weren't asked.

It felt like the place was still in the process of opening up? The overall vibe felt like they were still renovating but looking at some of the photos here on Google maps from several months ago it looks the same so...

I feel like there is some interesting flavor bubble tea here but it would do well with a little bit of explanation through signage and a little...

I wanted to leave a sincere review on here in hopes the store can improve next time but I was scared for what would happen to the staff... What an EMBARRASING example of leadership. As a long time manager of several businesses, I am appalled by the feedback provided to a single person in all of the years of both positive and negative reviews at this establishment. What kind of leader would publicly shame a new hire who is training with the comments written by this so called owner? I can assure you, excessive ice and other recipe issues are the least of your problems when you decide that the solution to the guest's concern is to almost publicly state that you wish to punish someone for the gap on quality. First fix your managerial gaps before worrying about the poor hourly...

Excellent customer service by the young man working both the cash register and the drink stations during my visit to this location today. Although he was working alone, he kept a calm and composed attitude and was very kind when taking my order and serving my drinks. There were approximately 20-25 guests in the store so he was very busy. Good job man!

Update June 2023: Went to this location again today. They’ve always made great drinks. However, a small suggestion: If you are offering picnic tables for customer seating, perhaps make it an option for paying customers to be able to use the washroom. All the other neighbouring businesses offer this option. I was turned away when I asked if my kids can use the bathroom today. I’ll update this review if they change...
