Food Poisoning! Went to this location a few months ago around 10-11pm looking for a late night fill up as I was going to be up late packing for a Florida trip leaving in the morning and had not eaten since early in the day. I ordered two mozza burgers and brought them home. I ate the first burger, but felt it tasted slightly off but assumed it was just me. I started eating the second burger and got two bites in when I realized it tasted like raw beef. I immediately threw it away. The next morning I did not eat. I boarded a plane and slept most of the flight. When I landed I felt a bit off. By the time I got to our hotel I could not keep anything down. I spent the first two days of my Florida trip with food poisoning and a very brutal recovery for several days after the fact. I will never be eating at this location EVER again. From the other review it looks like the late night staff at this location does not know how to cook food properly. Not sure I will ever eat at an A&W...

We have been so impressed with the service from this A&W. My elderly grandfather recently relocated from rural ON to AB, his diet is very limited as a senior with dementia, but one thing he loves is the mama burger and onion rings from A&W. We were able to introduce him to SkipTheDishes and he now enjoys his favorite meal every single day, even on days we can’t grab it for him ourselves. The team at this location is extremely reliable, and never makes a mistake with his order. He has been so pleased to be able to get the food he so enjoys, and says it is made better here in Alberta! Once or twice we’ve had to order from different locations just because we were driving through a different part of town and happened to pick it up elsewhere, but my grandfather can always tell and ALWAYS prefers the food from this location. I’ve had a couple of ‘off’ experiences from this location, (Ellerslie & 50St.) that I just let go. After a visit thru the drive thru a couple days ago, I believe some of the staff members have the wrong attitudes and intentions to be representing A&W. To deliberately add a large amount of grease to a breakfast sandwich, served on an old toasted English muffin, shows an extreme lack of integrity and maturity. You’ll be happy to know the grease spilled on my daughters clothing and our car seat. Couldn’t return back as we were on a time crunch and now had to go home for a clothing change. Coming from a background of providing 30 years of memorable customer service experiences to the Edmonton public, it’s easy to recognize when someone is deliberately messing with me, for no reason.
