ââIâve seen toddlers handle disappointment better than Miler Brayden at Starbucks.â
I donât usually waste time on Google reviews, because most are just a place for entitled people to complain anonymously when they donât get what they wantâbut when I saw this while checking the store hours, I couldnât resist. I watched Miler Brayden put on a full performance because staff wouldnât break his $100 bill for an order under $10âthen, in a generous twist, he suggested they just give it to him for free, even though his companion was offering to pay. Not long ago, cash wasnât even accepted (ehem, COVID), but sure, letâs pretend Starbucks is your personal bank⌠despite the actual bank across the street. Being a senior should mean more wisdom, not more entitlement. And shame on you for publicly dragging a hardworking employee through the mudâmany of these workers are teenagers and students, juggling school and life while dealing with customers like you. Good for you, Chloeâyou handled it better than most would have, including me. You and your team have always been great to me; maybe an order gets mixed up (mine never has), takes a little longer during busy timesâhey, they offer mobile ordersâor excessive customizations arenât possible (restaurants donât let you create off-menu meals). Hereâs a hint, Milerâyou might have actually gotten your order for free if you hadnât been so awful. Be kind, people, and think before you click. These people are our children and grandchildren, many working their very first jobs, like we all didâa little patience and understanding goes a long way. And remember: no matter how loud you yell, the customer isnât...
Read moreVERY POOR Customer Service. I travelled from Alberta to British Columbia for vacation and we stopped at this branch for break on our way to Whistler. I ordered coffee and Turkey Bacon Sandwich. A girl took my order and despite all other orders, she did not ask my name to deliver the order when it's ready. I waited for 10 minutes and seeing all other orders were prepared. I asked from the same person who took my order if my order is being taking care of and she confirmed it. after wasting 15 more minutes, she told me that they were out of that sandwich!!! she even did not apologize me for wasting 25 minutes of my time, she just offered me the refund or something else (treats) and because I did not want to waste more time, I asked for refund. The manager came over without asking what is the reason of refund or what happened to me, she did the refund. she noticed my frustration but DID NOT ask for the reason of that!!! instead of spending money on site, building or scheduling 10 staff, Starbucks should spend fund on training its staff and manager and teach them the basic methods of...
Read moreI understand short staffed making excessively slow service but rude service? Absolutely not. The one girl went to hand us the wrong beverage, then proceeded to blame the other girl for entering our order wrong, which she hadn't. They didn't know if we'd paid or not. Then she was pretty snarky, asking, "What were you supposed to get?" Repeated the order. First drink came out correct now. Tried to give the same incorrect drink again. Said we were still waiting for what we ordered. 3 staff came to examine the order screen and we finally got the correct drink thrust through the window at us. Thanked her and said, "Have a good night." because clearly she was not having a good time. When she stomped off, muttering, "Yeah, whatever.", we stopped feeling any empathy and understanding for the situation in the store. At least the coffees were truly great because the service was atrocious, and the attitude was a...
