It was a chilly but fine weekday after many days of rain, I felt like having a short trip out of Vancouver so my wife and I drove to Squamish and it was our first time visiting there.

We felt hungry and surprised to found a Vietnamese restaurant there. We wondered if this is the only Vietnamese restaurant in the town so we were curious to give it a try.

The restaurant has many small paintings of the Vietnamese culture. The server gave us a welcoming smile and led us to the table. We didn’t have to wait for long to order the goods.

Pho is definitely the first thing to order. From the previous reviews many people mentioned the broth were very rich in taste. When I had a sip of the broth it tasted good but taste is not as rich some people described. There were many beef in the pho and beef balls tasted nice. It is authentic and I believe the other dishes would taste authentic as well. No wonder there were many customers there. We enjoyed...

5-Star Review: Incredible Vietnamese Spot in Squamish!

What a gem in Squamish! This Vietnamese restaurant exceeded all expectations. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu is full of authentic dishes, but their pho and Bánh Mì are the real stars. The pho broth is rich, flavorful, and aromatic, with tender slices of meat and fresh herbs. The Bánh Mì is perfectly balanced, with a crispy baguette and the ideal mix of savory meats, pickled veggies, and fresh cilantro. The service is friendly and fast, and the portion sizes are generous. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this is a must-visit spot for anyone craving fresh, delicious Vietnamese food in Squamish!...

Genuinely surprised to find a decent pho place in Squamish. At initial thought, I was hoping for the best - I thought my partner and I were at a tourist trap but I was wrong, the food was really good and the owners are Vietnamese!

We ordered the special pho with beef tripe, beef ball and rare beef, passionfruit drink and some spring rolls. The broth for the pho was delicious, if you can master that, everything else usually would taste great and it is the case for Taste of Saigon.

Service was also very friendly, our waitress served us tea immediately and our food came out within 10 minutes after we placed our order. I highly recommend this place for post-climb or...

I wasn't expecting much from the restaurant but I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food here. Yes, the bowl of noodles was on the high end, but you have a large bowl and good amount of meat for the house special. In that respect, it makes up for the price. I am also surprised that the soup was surprisingly rich, and did not feel like they cut corners (I hope). It was on the oily side but I feel that is a good sign that they used real bones, instead of a spice packet or flavour packet instead. It's a small place but it was "busy" for 7 PM on a Wednesday. Still, there was no wait so thats always a plus in my books.
