On our way home to Whistler, we called in advance to place our order and spoke with a very lovely Irish woman. Upon arrival we spoke with her again, and she was so polite and friendly. We gave a tip and went to sit outside for a welcome break from the car for a few moments before resuming our road trip. Almost immediately, another woman came out and told us that we were not allowed to sit there, as it was for dine-in customers only. First of all, this was at 8:30pm (a half hour before closing) and the restaurant had several empty tables. There was nobody waiting who needed a table. And secondly, we tipped the staff despite not really being served at all. In my opinion we had every right to use the outdoor seating for a handful of minutes. However, she stood there awkwardly until we left, and we then walked to our car and sat in there to eat. All the while we could see the outdoor seating, which never filled up. How disappointing that we were made to feel so unwelcome at a place where we initially encountered great service. Rather than blindly upholding the outdoor seating rule, might I suggest asking if it is necessary to kick guests out of the establishment when there is more than enough room for them to enjoy their meal. I will say the food was great, but this experience has left a poor taste...

Read moreHad a great overall experience at this place and super glad we stopped in!
We were three adults and decided to share a few dishes rather than getting one each. We got the chicken kabob bowl with zaatar potatoes, hummus, pita bread and salad, the lamb merguez sausages, and a side of tabbouli and fries. Everything was delicious and flavorful, with all of it being perfectly spiced and the meats were cooked beautifully. The portions were a good size and this amount of food was good for the three of us, we polished off everything as it was all super tasty.
The service was also great, it was friendly and calm, and the vibes and decor in the restaurant were nice but chill. The restaurant filled up within 15mins or so of us arriving and there was only one server but she was excellent, she attended to every table quickly and efficiently without ever appearing rushed off her feet. The food also came out in a good amount of time so clearly the kitchen worked well too.
The price for all of that for plus beers was also incredibly reasonably, so given the quality of the food and service, this was a great experience with value for money and I'd...
