The food is very consistent and great. Even if the person making your burrito clearly doesn’t want to be there. The issue for me was when one of the managers (somewhat tall, skinny, tanned) seemed to have an issue with me designing my 3 burrito order one by one. I was ordering for me my brother and friend. They both had specific orders so I was designing each one one by one. He was getting visibly more and more angry and starting being pretty rude. Even going to the existent of judging what I was putting in the burritos?(weird). Then when it came time to pay the manager said “did you get guac on 1 or 2 burritos?” I said I didn’t get gauc on any of the burritos(which I genuinely didn’t). The manager proceeds to charge me for guac on all three burritos. I asked for the receipt and his hand was shaking when he went to grab it lmao. He gave me a recipe that didn’t show me the total for each burrito just the cost of all three together. I knew he charged me extra on something(s) because it was $5 more than usual for the same order. At this point Uber eats people were coming in and the register kept printing more and more receipts so I just said forget it and went in my car. Calculated the price of each burrito with guac and big surprise he charged me gauc on all 3. Not the first time I’ve had issues with this manager. Like man if ur reading this get another job obviously you hate this one. Loved this place, the other short manager is great, but there’s just better service elsewhere with the same...
Read moreResponse to management reply. What an absolutely perfect way to tell a client you care less than nothing about feedback. I provided you with very specific and actionable feedback and you tell me to go to your feedback site and do it again. You guys seriously need some courses in customer service. Those of us that take the time to complain are 1 out of 50 that had a problem. Treat that info like the valuable market research it is, and for which you aren't paying a thing. Would have given it another chance a few months hence, but not after this response.
We both love Mexican food so were happy to find this new restaurant.
Nice new place, clean but no real decor or atmosphere. No Mexican design tilt at all. Service was friendly but music was loud enough she was very hard to hear and could not get her to speak up.
The food was a reasonable price, and they do have gluten free Burrito wrappers. We both had the ground beef Burritos, no beans and only one of us had the rice on it. Food tastes very good when eaten but 15 or so minutes after leaving both of us noticed that there is a very strong after taste that may be Cummin or a similar spice. Gum does not get rid of it. Had to go home and brush teeth for a good 5 minutes for it to dissipate. Would like to see them address this issue, as well as the inability to...
Read moreI visited BarBurrito at Jensen Lakes yesterday for lunch, and it was my first time there. I was looking forward to trying the food since it seemed similar to Brazilian cuisine. I ordered a bowl with rice, beans, crispy chicken, lettuce, tomato, and corn.
While preparing my meal, the staff member was wearing gloves, but she used the same gloves to handle all the vegetables directly. She then processed my payment and touched the cash register with the same gloves. Right after, she served another customer, again using the same gloves to handle the vegetables.
I found this practice to be unhygienic, which left me concerned about food safety. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I don’t think I will...
