Basha Donair & Shawarma — Restaurant in St. Albert

Very clean and nice place. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Food was pretty bad and I went because the reviews were good. This was the only time I have thrown out fatouch salad after 2 bites. I thought about asking for a refund while it was being made since it looked nothing like it should, and the lovely person working there said they didnt have the premix they usually use. Very disappointing. Donair was okay I guess. Im sure the other food is good since the reviews are good but I'll be crossing this one off my list...

First time eating here and ordered the regular Donair combo. It tasted okay, fairly bland and the lettuce was wilted and turning brown which was not ideal. This was definitely the skinniest Donair I've ever gotten, for the same prices as anywhere else. Fries were okay, slightly undercooked but also bland and unsalted. Overall, disappointing experience. The phone line wasnt working so no answer after 6 phone calls, so I went to the shop directly and it was open. The nice and helpful guy at the counter told me phone isnt working (fair enough!) so placed the order over the counter. The shop is new and clean. The food though, didn't live up to my expectation.
