Panago Pizza — Restaurant in St. Albert

We put in an order for pick up over the phone under the name Sean. We did this at 6:10pm. The lady on the phone said it would be 15 minutes and that the total was $52. My husband arrives and goes to pick up the order and the lady said it's not ready yet. She says it has instructions for pickup is at 6:45pm. She asked if we wanted it right away, my husband said yes. She told him to come back in 15 minutes. No worries, mistakes happen. Then he arrives at 6:40pm and tells a different guy who serves him, that he's here to pick up his order for Sean. The guy says it's $95. My husband said that's not correct, it should only be $52. Then the guy says "wait, are you Shawn or See-an (Sean)?" My husband said they're both pronounced "Shawn" but his is spelled Sean. The guy says "ugh, I'll go get your pizza*" and went and got our pizza. This is not the first time this has happened. Our pizza was ready the first time my husband went in to get it but because he said it was for "Shawn" and not "See-an", they got confused and didn't give my husband our pizza. It sat on a warmer all that time and it should have been givin to us the first time. They were east Indian. They didn't know better I suppose. Horrible experience….i pre-ordered 9 pizzas to be ready for a specific time for a birthday party. When we got there to pickup at the correct time nothing was even started. They said it was busy which I can understand but I called and confirmed and preordered. I was so disappointed, we had limited time at the venue and 30 hungry kids and parents waiting. I understand things can happen, when we were there waiting they had friends walking around in the back where they make the pizza just hanging out. My family has found this Panago to be a new favourite go to when we need to get lunch in the city. We live nearly 2 hours away and like to do our shopping in St. Albert. The people here are friendly and helpful and the pizza is delicious without fail. We like the option Panago offers of plant-based cheese and have found the garden veggie or Mediterranean pizza to be the ones we like best. We order an extra large which is perfect for our family.
