The staff are ALL very helpful, polite, patient and informative. Any time I had to go to the front desk for anything (extra shampoo, coffee, etc) there was always an available staff member eager to help. I stayed on the second floor on the backside of the hotel which didn't give a great view, just a roof, so I thought "at least nobody can see in" but I didn't even think about maintenance being on the roof. During my stay, I did see maintenance people on the roof but not once did any of them even glance over into my room. Privacy was maintained and for the most part, a quiet hotel. Pet friendly so there are pets staying here but I haven't heard any commotion. I went to the restaurant here in the hotel and had a steak sandwich and for dessert some banana cake. Very good meal! The mashed potatoes were real potatoes, not from a box! All around a great stay! Also, laundry facilities are available, a swim pool with a fun looking waterslide, and a hot tub I believe. Also noticed some conference rooms here too. Lots of parking out front. Just next door is a grocery store, pharmacy, dollar store, coffee shop, pet valu, and a handful of restaurants. More shops just across the street too. The room had a king sized bed, dining table, office table, two chairs, a dresser, two side tables, and in total three lamps. Nice sized tv, hair dryer and also a clothes iron and board. There was a coffee maker, microwave and a small bar fridge as well.

I have stayed here before as I travel to Edmonton frequently to visit my grandkids. This time however, I went to help my daughter and grandkids move from one home to another. I provided the accommodations while we waited to get possession of the new place. For three days myself, my daughter, my grandkids and their cat stayed here. It’s not a new hotel but it’s well kept, clean, pet and kid friendly and reasonable priced. There is a hot breakfast provided in the on-site restaurant that is included in the rental and kids eat free. The kids also very much enjoyed the pool with the water slide and salt water hot tub. I greatly appreciated the laundry facilities available. They are coin operated. Soap and dryer sheets available for purchase at the front desk. There is an on-site pub attached as well. Everyone was super friendly and made the kids feel right at home. Specially the front desk staff (Thanks Andrew). Thanks to all for a wonderful stay. You helped make a difficult situation much less traumatic and I will be forever grateful!

Don’t stay here if you don’t have to. It’s a shame they don’t maintain the place. The light fixtures were removed from my room and half of the lamps and outlets didn’t work. The bathroom fan didn’t work, there was no caulking around the bathtub, and the tub had a big crack in it that wasn’t repaired. There was hair in the tub and on the spare pillow in the closet… Now the pool. There was grime on the slide, dirt all over the floor of the pool, and all the white grout was brown. The shared bathroom was filthy and they didn’t have much seating available. I was shocked that anyone was maintaining the PH balance in the pool water, considering everything else. In general it looks like it hasn’t had any proper maintenance since it was built.

Unpleasant and uncomfortable.|We walked in and approached desk. Said hello to "Treyton" (not sure how he spells it) and without looking up he said abruptly, "You'll have to sit down, I'm in the middle of a check-in." This was a surprise as there was no one at the counter or in the lobby. Suddenly a woman appeared from down the hall and he talked to her - I assume she was the guest he was checking in. She left and he took 2 phone calls before greeting us. He refused to hand us the debit/credit machine to insert/tap our card and instead we had to give him our card - he insisted this was "company policy" but it is very uncommon for any business to handle your card. He was not polite - just stuck his hand out without looking up. We asked to speak to a manager and were told we would receive a phone call from them, but so far that hasn't happened.|The elevator floor was filthy. Room was clean but there were no available outlets except for a worn out extension cord and ovetloaded power bar lying on the floor.|We asked for late check-out (noon). At 1155am housekeeping knocked, and I said I would be out in 5 min. They knocked again 2 min later and said "If you don't leave you will lose your security deposit." I am aware of this but didn't appreciate the threat. There was a man in the elevator holding a bong and he continued to wander around the lobby and entrance carrying it. Staff saw him but said nothing. |When processing our refund for the $300 security deposit, the clerk had to call someone else for help. Surprising since i assume this is standard procedure? Then the machine didn't work the first time. The clerk said "Do you want me to try again?" Obviously! Otherwise the $300 would not be refunded??|The lobby, entrance and elevator reeked of smoke, marijuana and musty carpet. Not a comfortable atmosphere and we will definitely not...

This was one of my favourite days in my entire 30 years of life ! I am extremely content and just appreciative of the kindness that I received during my stay here I highly highly recommend this hotel out of every hotel that I have come in contact with I have not ever met such friendly staff , especially and I will go out of my way and beyond for the receptionist Devon he was absolutely amazing towards me and he was so kind he has no idea the stress I was going through and have been going through so that little bit of kindness really did make my stay much more comfortable and he really will never fully understand how much it truly meant to me !! . I hope people see this because there are a lot of shady hotels out there and I mean really shady to the point where people are getting sick because they are just dirty and you know what they’re just there they don’t care about you they don’t care about anything just about your money. They over charge for laundry and it’s legit robbery , this place is affordable but is worth more than any 200$ hotels a night ….. hands down this one beats them all! This hotel is amazing and I wish I could give it more stars and ample more reviews I would go out of my way just to give this hotel more fame and exposure that it deserves ‘ I am so very thankful and I appreciate of everybody that I met during my stay. I really do thank this hotel for the hospitality. It gave me during my 3-Day stay so, thank you again Yours truly Dj...

They Will Probably take this review down again due to the truth being told St Albert inns and suites gave me & my husband a hard time to just check inn the front desk lady asked for 300$ if you use debt but for others who came to check inn it was just normal priced saying they get to pick & choice who can have that waived We went home to get a different card due to the machine not working , later we come back with my mom who is white & peacefully did we try to book the room again the front desk lady said 136$ now not mentioning the 300$ deposit than when she was claiming she's uncomfortable when she seen us back & than claimed we made her feel uncomfortable when we explained she had us feeling uncomfortable as a black couple this shouldnt have got this big of an event she claimed she has black people in her family & started bringing tears for unknown reasons blaming us she has changed the story the manager came to kick us out saying we made her cry , But How?? We just came to get a room first time there & we have been to lots of different hotels this shouldnt have happended She didn't apologize or nothing she continues to lie, we called the general manager He also was giving the same treatment worst racism experience ive ever had. We shouldnt have been treated this way no one was listening siding with her. but we will have our voices heard. St albert inn & suites lacks professionalism, maturity, & not knowing how to talk to people even as...
