This restaurant can be overlooked by the other options around but it shouldn't be! Love trying local places and decided to give this one a try. Went for 4:30pm on a Monday and though it was quiet, it was clean and inviting. Was immediately greeted by a friendly smile and nice eyes. Decided to try their small donair, ordered with sweet sauce, not tomato but with pickles and pickled reddish. Was prepared quickly and we both had a laugh when he put tomatoes on. He felt bad but said he could just take them off, I'm not that picky. Sat solo and enjoyed my donair until the last bite. Notice he made himself a donair as well as ai was enjoying my own. I made an effort to say thanks and bye as I was leaving and he said he tried my combination and was a fan! Was told to come back again and I honestly felt and knew he was genuine. This is why I’ll always choose a local shop to any chain restaurant. Not only is their food great, they’re truly appreciative and offer personal service that makes you smile.

I'm so glad I tried this place! As soon as I walked in, the lady at the till and the chef both greeted us (which doesn't happen often). We ordered the medium chicken shawarma and a large mixed shawarma, with a side of fries. When they brought the food out, they let us know they upgraded the medium wrap to a large for free! The fries were so hot, we had to wait to eat them, plus they actually season the fries. So many places don't put anything on their fries. Both wraps were packed with meat and fixings, you definitely get your moneys worth. We ordered two wraps, two pops, a regular side of fries (which are the size of a extra large order), and a order of Baklava (6 large pieces) for about $50 with tip. They informed us that they are new owners, bought the restaurant three weeks ago. Very attentive, social owners. Will definitely being going back! Also, they unformed us that they will be adding more food to the menu and possibly be doing brunches.

I am so thrilled to have found this gem of a restaurant in St. Albert. It is evident as soon as you walk into the clean and welcoming environment that Mazin & Moni enjoy what they do. And, as it turns out, their passion is equalled by their talent. Everything is FANTASTIC! Best grape leaves I’ve ever had. Best shish taouk with garlic dip and rice. (I recommend both the white and the brown). Amazing desserts. The homemade baklava and Lebanese cheesecake are so well done. Perfect balance of ingredients. Not too sweet (which I prefer). Generous amount of meat in shawarma. All of the salad ingredients are fresh, and the drizzled pita chips on the fattoush are second to none. The mushroom burger is to die for. Beef patty is moist and sauce is reminiscent of my very favourite childhood burger. Even the pita bread is delicious! Suffice it to say, I love this place and the people.

With the overwhelming choices for Mediterranean food out there and can say we’ve tried almost all of them if not all. Master pita was next on our list. Easy to find , lots of parking ,clean and well lit. Tastefully decorated and comfortable. The staff was very professional , polite and always smiling. Being that it was my mothers 80th birthday , we went all out and got a lot of everything as we had a party of 15. The aroma of the business was nothing short of what mamas kitchen was like growing up. Packaged beautifully and took our food home. After setting up the tables and setting out the food , people’s mouths watered and we’re in awe of how incredible the food looked. Now the most important, the taste. The flavour , texture and aroma of the food was amazing. Beautifully seasoned , perfectly cooked and as authentic as the Middle East. Everyone raved and had seconds and third helpings. My only regret was not eating at this place sooner. Thank you for the great food and making mommas 80th a huge success. Ordering again for my brothers 50th this week and dads 83rd on April 10. I encourage everyone to try this place out and guarantee you will make it your goto place as the portions and food...

I came in after work to purchase 2 mushroom burgers yesterday. I really enjoy them, but I gathered there was some frustration that I never try any of the great-looking full-plate items. I just wasn't in the mood for those. I have never complained about food quality or wait times. I am always polite. Sometimes I make run to the beer store after ordering and come right back. When I got back, the order was already done. Which was odd, but fine. I took it home and the burgers were both cold. I checked the cheese to see if maybe it just sat for too long, but it hadn't even melted, it was still a square slice. The mushroom sauce was cold, like eating pudding. If you don't want me to come back because you don't like what I order, don't charge me $16 for two burgers. You can just ask me to leave. In the past you have recommended me to try something else on the menu, but I just wasn't in the mood. Why is that a bad thing? I really did enjoy your burgers and donairs and I was thinking about coming back for a full-plate item at some point. I just don't think I can come back anymore. If you don't like selling the mushroom burger, you should take it off the menu. Sorry for being a...

I'm giving 4 stars because unfortunately, they got my order wrong. I placed an online order for a mixed shawarma wrap and a large order of garlic potatoes. When I arrived, my order wasn't started, as I guess there was an issue with their online order system, which is fine, it was only a short wait. The people there were friendly and apologetic for the issue, so no worries. However, when I got home and started eating my wrap, I noticed it only appeared to have chicken, no beef shawarma, and didn't have the additional veggies and sauces the mixed wrap says it would have (like lettuce and tomato, and hummus and tahini). I'm pretty sure I ended up with a chicken shawarma wrap instead. I still ate it, and it was tasty, but I am disappointed that I didn't get what I ordered. The garlic potatoes were quite yummy as well, so no issues there. I wasn't about to go back to the shop for a new wrap, as by the time I returned they would have been closed. The food was otherwise tasty, and the people were friendly, so I'll only knock off one star for the mistake. I will definitely go back, as it was my first time and the food was otherwise quite good, hopefully when I do I get the...
