This was a disappointing experience from start to finish. Walking in on a Friday night, the place was completely dead—not exactly a good sign. In total, we saw only two other people come in during our visit, which should have been our first clue to go somewhere else. We chose this restaurant because of the great reviews online, but after dining here, I’m genuinely confused. The experience we had didn’t match the reviews at all. We ordered the spring rolls, house special soup, and medium-rare beef & beef ball soup. There were a few positives—the service was friendly, the food arrived hot, and the restaurant itself was very clean. The spring rolls were decent, but not something I’d go out of my way to order again. The service was fine; water was topped up and the table was cleared quickly, but the wait for our food was longer than expected. Now for the real issue—the food. The soups were incredibly bland. I wouldn’t even call it broth; it was more like noodle water. I had to add a ton of hoisin sauce just to get any kind of flavor. On top of that, the portions were disappointing. The bowls were mostly noodles with barely any meat—five small pieces in each, which is unacceptable for a dish that’s supposed to be rich and hearty. With all the glowing reviews online, I expected much better, but this visit didn’t live up to the hype. I wouldn’t return, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it. There are far better Vietnamese spots out there.

Great experience, as ever! The staff is quick and knowledgeable about the gluten free diet. I had number 33, Lemongrass Chicken with bell peppers and onion on vermicelli. So good. Plus shared a full order of summer rolls and a pot of green tea. We also went for their vietnamese coffee, iced. If you've never tried it, you should!

I ordered a pork vermicelli bowl via skip the dishes and it was delicious. The spring rolls were crispy and full of flavour and the deep fried pork balls were a nice addition. I would definitely order from here again, or stop by if we’re in St Albert.

I never go out of my way to leave a negative review for a restaurant especially during these tough times but the food i got from this place near St. Albert was disgusting. I ordered the Chicken stir fry with vegetables and let me tell you that dish tasted like straight water and rice. Absolutely disgusting and bland. Not to mention that I had to wait about 20 minutes for it to be made. Never coming back here again, I was gonna contemplate coming back and asking for a refund that day but I decided to go the easier route. Overall, the vegetables included thick peices of carrots and about 2 droplets of some kind of greasy sauce (i’m going to assume it was soya sauce and even then it was literally diluted to the core) on top of the rice. The chicken literally boiled in water with no salt or seasoning. Just purely disgusting. Quite literally had a hard time eating after my third dig at the dish. Also, i know it’s corona season but I shouldn’t have to ask...

We went here because we read the reviews. I wish someone would’ve posted a real review. The place is ridiculously small. We waited 30 minutes for the toughest, tasteless pork chops I’ve ever had. The rice was just plain and the fish sauce just tasted like sugar water. It almost seems like they think they can cook, but they can’t. It was a terrible waste of time and money. We left feeling cheated and still hungry. I’d give it 0...
