Pizza Hut — Restaurant in St. Albert

We went at around 6:00 PM on a Sunday and the restaurant was completely empty except for us. You’d think that we’d get pretty decent service considering we were the only ones. Wrong!

No one greeted us at the front. Someone in the kitchen yelled at us to seat ourselves and someone would be there to help us.

The server finally came over and asked us if we wanted to start with drinks. I asked what kinds of beer they had and the server said that they only had Heineken and Alexander Keith’s because they needed to put in a beer order.

When we received our drinks, we put in an order for bread sticks and told the server to give us a few minutes to decide on the main. She never came back to take our food order until she brought out our bread sticks.

The rest of the night was mediocre as well. We had to get our own cutlery from other empty tables because the server never really showed her face more than absolutely necessary. And the pizza was extremely greasy as well. The plates also need to be replaced as they are very well used with black stains from far too many uses.

When it came time to leave, no one came to help us so I had to go to the kitchen to tell them I wanted to leave. The server came only after that to settle things up.

It’s too bad because I really like Pizza Hut but I guess I’ll have to get my fix through Pizza...

Ordered a large Triple Crown for delivery. No issues with that - pizza arrived when they said it would and was reasonably warm. We always throw it back in the oven for a few minutes anyway. The number of toppings could definitely be increased though as we had to hunt to find any mushroom or green pepper. Aside from that the pizza was delicious and I was just taking a bite out of my third piece when I thought I bit into a hair. I took the piece into the kitchen where the light was better and saw the hair that I had bit into sticking out of the slice. I gave it a tug and it was firmly baked in, so I pulled a little harder and pulled out a long black strand of hair about 10 or 11" long. Needless to say my wife and I both lost our appetites pretty quickly and the remaining pizza was tossed in the garbage. I think whoever is preparing these pizzas should be wearing a hairnet at all times so this sort of thing doesn't happen as it is entirely preventable; and Pizza Hut you owe me a large pizza. UPDATE - ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE FROM THIS ST ALBERT LOCATION. I RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM PIZZA HUT ASKING IF ANYONE CONTACTED ME BUT NOTHING MORE. NO WONDER THIS LOCATION GETS...

Honestly this is the worst location I've ever had to deal with. The pizzas are terrible and the management and staff are horrid! I asked to inspect the pizzas before paying for them and found them to be dry and virtually toppingless. I spoke with one of the managers on duty to voice my dissatisfaction with the quality of food they are producing as this is the 3rd time I have tried to order from this location seeing as they are the only pizza hut in St Albert. The man I spoke with basically told me this is the standard of food they turn out and that if i dont like it i can go somewhere else. After I let him know that there are multiple reviews stating the terrible quality of there pizza he said he really doesn't care while yelling at me. That was the final straw, I refuse to support a business that continually treats its customers this way. Furthermore all the good reviews are obviously posted from people they know and are complete lies. Considering how many reviews there are about the horrible quality I find it hard to believe that this owner cares at all. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME TRYING TO DEAL WITH...
