Fat Bastard Burrito Co. — Restaurant in St. Catharines

Found this burrito place while searching online for some quick supper ideas. SO glad i came across this place!! I bought my family and i 4 "Big" burritos and honestly we were all shocked, Not only at the size of these, but also the quality, freshness and they were very well made. Easy ordering through the Uber delivery app, the team had my order together at the time i requested and delivery was fast!

Pros: huge portions even just the "big" burrito size fresh ingredients (crunchy fresh veg, perfectly cooked noodles, great spice and flavours meat burritos are Filled with tender meat (chicken and pork were well done, well enjoyed by my fam.) great options to customize, even portion size and heat levels of burrito wrapped well that the burrito stays together while it's being consumed very filling, really great flavour pairings too

Cons will not be able to eat this in public without looking like a dirty, sauce covered zombie devouring a fresh heart lol the pricing for what you get is fantastic. It is a bit costly if you add a bunch of extras but i feel this place is really reasonably priced.

Food is great. My service dog and I will not be back as another customer had a non service dog in the store who kept barking and growling at my service dog. I left the store waiting for them to leave and the lady with the dog came out to let me get my order (her dog continuing to bark and growl). The staff member handed me my food and didn’t acknowledge what had occurred and said nothing. I dropped my burrito on the ground due to the commotion of the barking dog and the store refused to re-make my order. I called back and was told they were worried my service dog was going to be bitten and froze up. When I pointed out the laws around service dogs the lady seemed disinterested and unwilling to acknowledge that she misunderstood the law and expressed frustration with the other customer leaving. This location is local to me so my family and I go here often. I would give 5 stars if the restaurant fired on all cylinders regularly but, unfortunately, thats not the case. I'll be lucky if I get a bowl or burrito done the way I want it. Almost every time we go in there's either 1 or 2 toppings that are out. Considering i see 3 employees working at times they should never be out of toppings. Sautéed vegetables are almost always out. Same goes for the beans. Sometimes its the black beans that are out or the refried beans. They'll make more but you'll be waiting another 10 minutes on top of your wait depending how many orders are ahead of you . Another inconsistency is that they sometimes burn the burrito. Nothing wrong with toasted but i don't want my my wrap burned black.Overall the employees should be retrained on consistency...
