Came here for the first time today and the food was pretty good! Cooked well it just needed more flavour. The wings are huge and the veil is tender and juicy. The menu is large which usually means a lot of pre cooked frozen food but that doesn’t seem to be the case here, though the spinach dip is watery and has no taste and I almost choked on my mozzarella sticks. Service was ok, not the best and took a while for her to notice our menus were closed so we could order. Other than that, one of the owners runs around seating people and she’s not very friendly or welcoming and she heard us verbalize a mistake the kitchen made and didn’t ask if she could do anything about it. She also seems to overwhelm her staff by not seating large parties in proper sections. Overall the atmosphere in there is nice and food is decent. UPDATE*** I am changing my review as I’ve now been back 3 times to try the butternut squash pasta, the veal sandwich and the chicken wings myself. The first time I went I had some bad apps and a good Yorkshire pudding meal. First off the chicken wings were so dry I could barely chew the majority of the meat on each one. Completely unenjoyable. The veal parm sandwich was an utter disgrace and I do not put that lightly. The bread was magnificent and the sauce wasn’t horrible but the “MEAT???” Was sooo questionable it was just straight up mush, breading and oil. It wasn’t even meat on the inside it was just meaty flavoured mush I couldn’t believe it The pasta was supposed to be brown butter and sage sauce with butternut squash ravioli… first of all it was just ravioli tossed in straight up melted butter it was not browned right, and the ravioli was still hard and cold in the middle. I should have complained but I was with my parents who get angry about that sort of thing so I had to keep quiet but I won’t be back.

I decided to take my son out for dinner last night before his hockey game and read about their Monday night half price apps and $14 pasta. I was nervous about timing from some of the other reviews and expected it to be extra busy because of the special. We didn’t have a reservation but there was a table open and we were seated right away at 6:15, we ordered beverages (beer and a pop) and food at 6:20, drinks came minutes later, apps came at 6:35 and pasta at 6:45. We were packed up, paid and out by 7. Considering the entire restaurant was full, I was impressed. Our server, Rachel, was amazing! Friendly and attentive. The food was amazing, bearing in mind this is not fine dining but a diner. Large portions, perfect temperature and loaded with the good stuff (cheese!). I could barely see the perogies under all the cheese. The Bruschetta was awesome and incredibly filling due to the massive portions, Antojitos…my favorite are hard to find on a menu anywhere. These hit the spot and were perfect. Coconut shrimp was so good my son ate it all before I could even get a bite in. Then came the pasta, I had the grilled chicken fettuccine which was a perfect balance of flavours and my son had the baked penne which was delicious and very hot. Because we were pressed for time, we packed up and now I have lunch and possibly even dinner for tonight! The subtotal came to $61 for all this food. How is this even possible?! I’m definitely going to be a regular. Every night they have a great special and their menu is so extensive, there is something for everyone at great, affordable prices. Would definitely recommend.

After being seated, we were served quickly by Kristin, who took our drink order and left us to go over the menu. The menu is a little overwhelming. There's a lot of everything from everywhere. It was a bit of a turn-off. It's nice inside, but there are so many (muted) tvs everywhere that it feels tacky. You could honestly take half of them down. We chose the Signature Burger with French onion soup and the hickory pulled pork grilled cheese with sweet potato fries. The food was served quickly and together. Everything was average. The burger is house made. I was quite disappointed in the onion ring's size (pictured). The bacon is really good! And the cheeses were good too. I couldn't really taste the onion ring, though. 😀 The onion soup used mozzarella, making for a rather disappointing silly-putty experience. The sweet potato fries were average, and the pulled pork sandwich felt a bit dry and was short of sauce. It didn't allow the BBQ flavour to "pop". The coffee was average, as well. *sigh* The French fries are frozen, as well. What kind of dystopia are we living in nowadays? *shakes fist in angry old man fashion* Everything was just "average", except for the service. Kristin did her job well! Listened to our concerns, offered to return meals, and kept up on how things were going... all with patience and understanding. It was very much appreciated. If you want a massive selection of average food at an average price, it will fit the bill. You will leave full, as the portions were very good! It just wasn't our "cup of tea."

I was a party of 7 people tonight. Our server was great, and was worried about how we felt after our visit tonight. (Please keep in mind, all 7 of us work in customer service daily) we ordered drinks from the drink menu that was provided for us. Our waitress came back to inform us that the one drink order from the menu is not on the P.O.S so she could no longer order it, and had to choose something else. We wonder why it's on the menu??. Our food came out at a reasonable length of time. It all looked delicious. Another one of the woman then found a hair in her food. The waitress apologized and took the food back right away to be completely remade. Her food was then replaced with new plate of food. When the waitress came back she advised my friend that it would be taken off the bill for her. Unfortunately... the rest of the six people at the table were finished eating now. We ordered desserts and a spoon was asked for and the kind of forgotten about. So the ice cream on top of desert started to melt. Once again a second lady at our table, found a hair in her chocolate cake...... ewwww.. the waitress was asked if someone in back did not have a hairnet on.we were told that yes... one person.

As customer service workers we were also surprised to see the manager/owner walking around, but not once did she walk over to apologize or say anything about the issues for tonight.

As for the waitress...besides waiting a little longer than expected for a spoon and some butter.. for her 4th shift, you did great huunnie! Keep...
