Industria Pizzeria + Bar — Restaurant in St. Catharines

Extremely disappointed!!! A waste of $120 dollars, I wish there was an option for zero stars. I just ordered food from this restraunt last night and everything was wrong with my order.

I called them prior to ordering food to ask if we could substitute the tomatoe sauce pasta for Alfredo and the second one with a buttery and cheese sauce. I was on hold for over 10 minutes and had to call back because I wasn't sure if they forgot about me. The girl said there would be a charge if I wanted a pesto sauce and she wasn't sure if I have to pay to substitute to Alfredo or butter sauce because I am ordering from Uber. I asked her why that would make a difference if at the restaraubr you cam substitute tomatoes sauce for Alfredo.

Then she said type it in the options and they will look at it.

The first pasta order had nothing in it ( no butter,no sauce , no salt). Literally just plain pasta. The second pasta barely had some butter on it but still better then boiled pasta. My kids didn't eat it aged (4,2 and 1). My husband had to get out of the hotel and go grab a slice of pizza.

I asked for extra sauce for my chicken parm and they sent it extra dry with barely any sauce. I asked for it to be spicy and they did put chili flakes on it but no flavor.

My husband good the seafood pasta which did come with extra sauce but no flavor.

Thankfully the hotel was able to give us some salt,pepper and hot sauce from the restraunt.

I also want to mention that the food dis not come with any utensils and not sure how they thought would eat our pasta, chicken etc without and forks or knife.

Luckily the hotel give us utensils.

The worst experience for the amount of money spent. If it was just for me and my husband I wouldn't of cared as much to leave a review but the fact that my kids were hungry and it took a lot longer to arrive then expected that I am very disappointed.

I called the restraunt they said they are new to Uber to so they don't have any utensils but you shouldn't offer Uber Eats services to nearby hotels.

I don't need an apology or fake excuses from management, just sharing...

We had a good meal here - food was good - not exceptional, but good for sure and we would go back.

Our experience went from our check in which was not good at all, perhaps a 1 out of 10 and I thought we were in real trouble - the hostess asked our name for the reservation and while she was doing that a server spoke to her (very loudly) from the dining room area about 15 feet away. The hostess stopped with us and addressed the server and then walked away from us to go and take care of whatever was going on. She came back to again check us in and then moved onto guests that just came in the door, bypassing another customer that was standing there waiting. It was all VERY odd and unorganized. I should also say that there were at times 3 other workers standing behind her all talking. This is not a way to start a guests experience.

Moving on from that - the person that STOOD OUT and saved the day was our server - Roland. He was great (and the reason we would go back)- very attentive, funny, knowledgeable about the food and a great drink maker. FOR THIS REASON I gave our service stars a 5. If it had not been for him, it would have been a 2 based on our first impressions.

Our meal was good, my pasta was dry (had to ask for extra sauce and probably could have used double that) and overcooked, but my chicken was done very well. Someone at our table had pizza which was very good.

First impressions are really important, so that should be improved upon. Again, our server was the best part of our experience and the food was good. We will go back again and hope that we have the same server. I think next time we will stick to pizza but I guess...

JULY 2025- 2 back to back visits, hooked on the Industria pizza AKA Big Mac Pizza. The staff made it and why we came immediately back. Paris and Sarah DAY STAFF Sunday were amazing and friendly. Paris knew her stuff on the menu and made it feel like we were talking to a friend. Attentive and above all positive. Returning the night after Luke AKA Aussie...again friendly to the 100% . So positive and engaging. Doing something right Industria keep it up. THANKS STAFF AND CHEFS AMAZING see you soon. 1st visit- From beginning to end this experience was AMAZING from making the reservation, which is not required, to the friendly greeting by the hostesses, the servers and the management. We mentioned in our reservations we had an event and the server acknowledged it and the manager came over, mentioned it and explained they were expediting our service. We never even had to ask or tell them. Attention to detail 💯 service 💯 food 💯 atmosphere 💯 staff 💯. I always appreciate when staff help out one another. When our appetizer was ready another staff member brought it over to us. Team work 💯 . Can't wait to go back and enjoy more time in house and food. Do yourself a favor order the mozzarella balls! Live the sauce too, jar that up please 🤞Keep up the great job Industria, don't change what's working! We will be back! Thank you all.
