I have been going to this location since they opened on day one and they have always been very accommodating. In the past 2 weeks I have been using the online and paper coupons for the $3.00 Big Mac and have been adding bacon for an extra charge (Which I have also successfully ordered at 2 separate locations) Again, they have all been very accommodating until this evening in particular. The manager on this shift (approximately 11:20 pm on Friday, January 15th, 2021) was the complete opposite of accommodating. I was informed by this individual that they could not add bacon to the $3.00 Big Mac?? I explained that in the past 2 weeks that I had been there and other locations that the restaurants just charged me extra for the bacon. His only response was âYour order will be ready at the second windowâ. When I arrived at the second window, there seemed to be confusion between the cashier and the manager after I again mentioned the bacon being added. My coupon was scanned and the total came to $3.15. I immediately knew that they did not add the bacon as requested because I was obviously not charged for it. So, as always, I checked my sandwich and of course, no bacon. I went back through the drive through and requested that my order be corrected or if I could just get the bacon and pay for it... I then now had to have a painfully difficult conversation with the same manager that took my order and who completely has zero understanding about customer service combined with an arrogant attitude. As I again attempted to explain how every other time and location that I have made this exact order, that it has never been a problem and would just like to pay extra for the bacon. He told me that I would have to order a $7.00 âBig Mac Baconâ if I wanted bacon added to my $3.00 Big Mac.... :| So $4.00 for 2 strips of bacon... In my haste, I decided to use some choice words that I am not proud of and possibly feeding into his ignorance about my intelligence, instead of simply asking for a refund and going to Wendyâs across the street. I understand that this is probably an idiotic move by the McDonalds corporation themselves to push sales of the âBig Mac Baconâ. But, all restaurant managers at any restaurant are fully capable of adding or removing charges on any order at any time to be able to accommodate their customers. This was either a case of pure stupidity or flat out terrible customer service. I have been working in restaurants for 25 years and refusing to add extra money for an add on to a sandwich is utter ridiculousness. I have frequented this location on an average of twice a week for many years now.... Never again. Iâll definitely be going to either of the 2 other locations on my way home from now on. Or Iâll just stick with Wendyâs where the food quality is 10 times better and they let me pay for whatever I want. Apparently this particular manager at this McDonaldâs doesnât want your extra money.... If you can not tell by this review, I get extremely angry when people deny me bacon. Sorry but not sorry...
Read moreLiterally one of the worst mcdonalds in the city with the most arrogant and incompetent employees. Everytime I've ever gone, I'm either parked for 10minutes for the smallest of orders and/or something is ALWAYS missing. I always have to park, check my bags and go back in. Most of the time I don't have time to do this and just accept paying money and not getting my order. Why go back? Because it was on the way, convenient and my kids like pancakes. But safe to say after today I'm not, I'm done being robbed of money for product I'm never getting, being late for where I'm going because they're so slow inside and out and then on top of it my coffee NEVER being made correctly. Today my partner and I took our kids to get pancakes before daycare and work drop offs. We respected the split speaker drive thru, took the other speaker and waited 3 minutes to get an order taken. But done worry they served 4 CARS on the other speaker despite us trying to get their attention. And then we waited another 10 from placing the order to getting to the food window. At the food window they rushed our bag and drinks at us, said have a nice day and closed the window before we could say or do anything. We checked the bag at the window and sure enough, a hashbrown is missing as well as a coffee. We waved at them, knocked on the window and honked but the people we could see through the window ignored us. We pulled over and my partner went inside and waited 10 minutes before leaving. In those 10 minutes he tried to get the attention of multiple employees who were to busy standing there laughing amoung themselves.we ran out of time and had to leave. So here I am, out 6$ from just today, kids fighting over hashbrowns and a partner that was late to work because he tried to get assistance. In total, this mcdonalds specifically has taken atleast 100$ from me without giving me the proper product. I made the mistake of going back, but not again. Already taking to head people, just wanted to elave a reciew so people know not to waste their...
Read moreLOLOL. this was quite a kerfuffle trying to get our order right. The lady who took our initial order was very nice and a very clear speaker, which I complemented her on. She had a lovely smile as well. That's always a good thing when you approach the window to pay. đđ𫶠OK, here's where it all went wrong. We ordered 4 Junior Sweet Chili Burgers, as we had earlier in the week at another location, which were amazing, and expected the same at this location. However, we got our meals, and I quickly noticed that mine tasted like the regular Junior Chicken Burger. We checked the rest, and sure enough, they were all regular. So I proceeded to go through the line again and told the lady at the window our issue with the order, and she was quite apologetic and said she would replace all four with the chill version. All good, right? NOPE. LOL We got this new batch, and there was the tinest amount of chili sauce on each of the four burgers. You could hardly see any or taste any. đ€đ SOOOOO....... I take the four burgers into the counter this time, and I politely asked the young lady if McDonald's was having a Chili Sauce Shortage because clearly, we had none. She apologized and said she would replace the four burgers and make them herself. I'm sure this wasn't the first mistake the back crew who were making the burgers made that day. As a matter of fact, as I approached the drive-thru the first time, someone at the other drive-thru was returning something their order was wrong. So after all of that, we ended up with 12 burgers, good for us, bad for McDonald's . After eating and finally enjoying the last batch of 4 burgers , the other 8 we would have given to a homeless person if we had seen one on the roadside. However, our dogs enjoyed at least two of them. I guess the old adage remains. Good help is hard to find. I don't blame the speaker lady or the young lady who finally made the burgers right, just the ones that need a little more training, it seems. KEEP SMILING! Have a good day,...
