We used to love Rollin and referred a lot of people to it until tonight! Not only did they not have the dough to make the deep dish American pizza, but their vegan cheese taste like plastic (previously you couldn't tell the difference between it and regular cheese) and their vegan options have gone right down to maybe 6 items, but the delivery guy was very rude. Telling me I was rude pointing out that I had given clear directions to my place when I had to go out into the parking lot to get my order I paid delivery for. Instructions, which he admitted to have ignored. I don't include tips online orders for this very reason, I top in person as I am not tipping for rudeness. Upon saying I was reporting him to Rollins, he informed me not to bother as he is the owner! Having previously spoken to the owners, knowing they were not him, I called and found out that, in fact, he is the new owner! So not only has quality of food gone down (pizza tastes like every other pizza place in town, nothing special at all), but so has the service!
In response to the owners response: at no point did I swear, yes, I said it wasn't rocket science to find the unit because I had given clear instructions. Also, when I called the store, I did not say the previous owners were white. What I said is that I didn't recall the previous owners as being the same, I did not say any race! So do not make this about race! I have close friends and family who are the same nationality as you and would never speak to someone like you spoke to me! I was not yelling at you, I was directing you back to me as I was not walking to the other end of the complex to get my order when you had driven right past where I live and had to drive past to leave. Also, I do not treat anyone like my servants. The last delivery person was tipped very well for the service he provided. He was polite and friendly, which warrants his tip. You are the first one that has ever yelled at me and is now pulling a race card. Not everything in life has to do with race. My complaint was about your actions, not your race! For the mere fact you could not even respond to my complaint properly shows how much of a hot-headed, rude person you are!
Furthermore, I use the same directions for everyone with success and even the girl (whatever race she is as it is not a factor so stop trying to make that a factor) who answered said the directions were clear! "Come in the complex, visitors parking is on right ...." is pretty clear. It didn't say go around circle to 2nd visitors. Also, my previous orders were different. Yes, they were good and not the same as this order! So my complaint is about this order! We will never agree on what happened, but as for my part, I know it was not race driven, nor...
Read moreI wish that places like Rollin' Pizza existed all over, because it would be a highly successful chain. They have an incredible selection of different pizzas, pasta, salads and apps, including one of the best vegan menus I have ever seen. It was very easy to order and pick up, and I'm glad I got the chance to stop in and see the operation. The storefront has a sleek and modern rustic vibe, with a nice area to sit and wait for my order. The people there were really nice, focused on getting food ready, and also had a really good rapport with each other. The manager even apologized that my food was about two minutes "late" even though, in my opinion, it was really quick promised ready time in the first place (about 20 minutes). Point is, you won't be waiting long, and this was on a busy summer Saturday evening. The quality and presentation of the food was superb, and the fact that my very picky kids ate all of their pizza is a telling sign. The portions were also great given the reasonable prices, so you can plan for leftovers if that appeals to you. I've given this recommendation out to local friends and family, and I hope they continue to do really well in the community. On second thought, maybe it's better left as a...
Read moreTravelled from Welland to get some pizza's for my wife's bday. She wanted to try the "Dill with it" pizza. We also ordered the "Pierogy" pizza and the "Big Papa." All 3 pizzas exceeded our expectations, and were simply amazing. I cant say one was better than another, as all 3 were equally awesome in their own unique way. My wife, who loves a good pickle, couldn't have been happier with her pizza choice. The staff even added a bday note to the inside of the box which was a very nice touch. The "Big Papa" was delicious and topped with very fresh toppings and obviously made with love. My kids loved this. The "Pierogy" pizza was the best Pierogy pizza I've ever had... by far. It tasted like a true Pierogy, with zero extra and unnecessary spices to add heat. This was my favorite (being Ukrainian/Polish). Woa... day 2 lunch leftovers were dynamite!! I feel we have found the new Mecca of Pizza places. Despite the drive, we will definitely be returning to try out other creations. If your questioning "dill pickles" on a pizza, don't question, just try it. It works fabulously. See ya...
