Starbucks is going down hill fast , the demise of this franchise probably can’t come soon enough. I’ve been a customer of over a decade. Predominately now what you gets at Starbucks is staff that really use the place as social outlet and lack focus on their jobs. There is a top down issue with this corporation clearly as it’s not just one but many of the outlets in Niagara region that have fallen off drastically in the last 5 years. It comes to something when the customer knows how a drink is made better than the staff. Todays episode of stupidity is a staff member adding double water to a latte, when removing the lid the drink looks like soap water and thus tasted the same. Since lake st is closed due to renovations the staff has been working at the fairview mall location that I visit regularly without any issues. Today when I when went the girl working was extremely rude and threw my drink on the counter without saying anything before turning around to talk to another employee.When I got to where I was going my husband started drinking his tea that was supposed to be decaffeinated because he's not allowed to have caffeine due to health issues and realized that it was not the decaf tea. I decided to bring it back and thankfull one of the regular fairview mall Starbucks ladies happily served me and was very apologetic. Read moreMy wonderful girlfriend and I were here and... well... this particular Starbucks establishment was quite underwhelming. I myself am I long time drinker of Starbucks delicious beverages and therefore have ventured to many different locations. This time in particular we came to this location and utilized their technologically advanced drive-thru system. Upon ordering our beverage we waited I would have to say what felt like 12 or so minutes. Once said beverages were in our possession, we were dissapointed to find that my significant other’s beverage was not made to her specifications. She asked for light ice, they gave her normal ice. It pains me to say that I will no longer give this particular Starbucks coffee location my business any longer.
