First off, if you want authentic, home cooked Indian food, YOU MUST GO HERE! ordered butter chicken, naan, and rice. Butter chicken was beyond good, real authentic taste, it taste as good as it smells! Rich, creamy, beautiful chunks of chicken, and absolutely lovely with the naan and rice dipped into the sauce! Butter naan was delicious, they gave more than just a tiny peice! It was light, perfectly cooked, a little stretchy, almost melts in your mouth! Rice is nicely cooked, its not mushy or sticky, very nice side dish as a filler The customer service is beyond amazing, locally owned restaurant with customer service as their #1 priority. They ask proper questions and make sure everything is made to your liking, including how spicy. One step beyond that, they asked if I would like to try the Butter chicken before leaving to ensure it was made to taste, and asked me if I liked it the way it was, or needed it changed! You can simply tell how much pride they have in the food, and their restaurant. I would recommend this to everyone, there are many options and spice is also optional as it is all made in house, and with special blends of spices made. 5/5 can't wait to go back for more absolutely amazing food! Roughly 10-20$/person

I was so happy we finally tried this! Waited too long after seeing other reviews for sure. We ordered the chilli chicken, butter chicken, garlic naan, chicken biryani, chat bahar! We asked for mild/medium heat. I prefer hotter but family limited the heat. I will say the biryani was hotter then the rest. The smell just on the car ride home was intoxicating! Without a doubt this food was the best around. I haven’t had too many curry’s (maybe 5 in total from london). Each dish was flavoured authentically and had its own unique flavour. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of chicken in the buryani. The most I’ve had in one for sure. By the time the three of us were done we had a scoop of chat bahar (somosa style) left and half a dish of biryani. All the butter chicken sauce was devoured:). I was greeted by two friendly gentleman and left with a big thank you. I gave a three star in the atmosphere category only because there isn’t much. Wouldn’t take much to pop in a few tables and add a bit of decor. Seems like most of the business is take out, which is fine by us because it traveled well and was hot after the drive. We will be back. Thank you!

Ordered Tadka Dal, Lamb Biryani, Butter Chicken, 2 orders of naan, and samosas (1 order of 3). This fed our family of 4 very well. The kids loved it all and even tried some of the spicier dishes (all dishes were made to the spice level we requested). The owners are some of the nicest people I've ever met in a restaurant. You can tell the passion the chef puts into each and every one of his dishes. It was a pleasure to hear him talk about how important it is to ensure the quality of his food by making his own spice mixes and staying true to his culture when preparing the food. I was invited to sit down at their table (only one table, primarily a take out restaurant hence the rating on atmosphere slightly lowered) to try all of the dishes before paying and leaving with my order. Such exceptional service. A great addition to our city. Well done! We cannot wait to try more dishes from this restaurant.

Amazing customer service and great food-Sorry this review is going to be a bit of a read. We decided to order a late lunch today and try out this new restaurant, I am so glad we did. I don't often leave reviews, I worked in the restaurant industry for over 20 years all over Canada and have become quite particular when it comes to food, so my opinion can be a bit harsh. However the customer service I received today from Chef Sachin Sharma and the lovely lady at the counter was beyond any hopes I had. First off the food- it was all very good. With the restaurant being new I decided to play it safe and order butter chicken and 3 orders of garlic naan. Both were good but were a little flat in flavor. The real stars of our meal was the aloo gobi and the dal tadka. These vegetarian dishes were very flavourful with a mild spice. I am excited to try other options on the menu, including our original choice, the bhindi masala which leads me our experience with the chef. I ordered our meal online (butter chicken, bhindi masala, dal tadka and a few naan) with a short pickup of 15 minutes. Within minutes chef Sachin called me to let me know that he wasn't happy with the quality of the okra he has and recommended I choose another dish. I am familar with Indian cuisine and quickly switched the order to the aloo gobi (which was an excellent choice). Picked up the food from chef Sachin and a very friendly lady at the counter (on time) and drove home. When I got home I noticed that I was missing the dal but since I hadn't been charged for it. When picking up the food, chef Sachin had mentioned that they were still getting used to the ordering system so I just assumed it was a new establishment working out the kinks, no problem at all. 10 minutes later I got a call again from Chef Sachin, he was at my front door with the dal. Amazing customer service, and great food. Welcome to St. Thomas, I can't wait to order...

My wife and I just had an exceptionally good dinner from these guys tonight. After about 4 visits, it’s pretty clear that they consistently produce some of the, if not THE best Indian food in my area code. A super friendly, gracious and accommodating couple own and run this small restaurant and you can tell that every dish is made with skill and pure love. It really does feel like you’re eating at your favourite Auntie’s place, if your favourite Auntie cooked bomb South Asian cuisine… We had their house made garlic naan (to die for), chicken tikka masala, aloo gobi, chicken biryani and Shab’s pakora. Honestly, it's hard to pick a favourite when everything is great but believe me when I say that you won’t be disappointed by the flavour or portions of any of these dishes. The fact that they ask and accommodate for your preferred spice level is a huge bonus as each dish can be tailored to suit the most timid or adventurous palates. Don’t sleep on the mango lassi either! It is the absolute perfect drink to cool and cleanse the palate of robust, yet refined spice profiles. Overall, I strongly urge you to try this unassuming little spot, that would be easy to miss if you are not familiar to the area. Not only will you be pleasantly surprised by the outstanding, authentic taste of South Asia in a small, blue collar town but you will be supporting a business and people that really deserves your hard earned money. The owners are extremely grateful for every person who they have the pleasure of serving and it shows in each and every interaction I have with them. I really hope that they do well and that more people discover them. If you are reading this Shab, I absolutely loved your namesake fritters and will be back to order...
