Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Steinbach

I've been to this location twice now and both times included frustrations! The first time I went, I was trying to buy 6 donuts consisting of 4 different flavors and was only able to get 2 that I actually wanted. I was not impressed that they had so few to choose from! Then on my last visit, I went through the drive-thru and was ordering 4 cups of coffee and Timbits. I gave my 1st order and the woman gave me the price total. I said I had more to order, gave the 2nd and as I was trying to say the 3rd, she cut me off and gave me the new total, again I said I wasn't finished. I finished saying the 3rd and again.. she said the total and tried telling me to proceed to the window! Finally I just had to snap back and say I was not done and asked her to please stop interrupting and let me finish my order! She was so rude and impatient. Then there were 2 women at the window, one took my payment and the other handed me the 4 coffees and said to have a nice day or whatever and she started closing the window and I quickly asked "what about my Timbits?!!" and the other woman opened the window again and said it would just be a minute. I waited and got them. It was just an unpleasant experience and I can't imagine the reason to be rushed like that. There were a few cars in line but nothing extreme. From these 2 experiences, it has made me not want to go back to this location!!! I've never had a single issue at the other locations in Steinbach - I'll drive the extra distance to...

I went through the drive through and ordered a meal for my family no problem at all only this 1 time out of the many times I been to the brandt street tim's in the past 6 months. I got home and forgot to order something. So I walked back and the door was locked so I walked through the drive-thru and I said hello and I got no answer so I said hello again quite a few times and then tapped on the speaker to see if there was someone there or if it was even working or not and still got no answer. Then a car was coming through the drive-through so I walked to the window and when I got to the window and the girl that was working at Tim Hortons on Brandt Street saw me she turned to her co-worker and said and now he is at the window and refused to come to the window even speak to me and see what I had wanted. It is pretty embarrassing when you have to ask another customer to order something for you that you are able to pay for because the girl at the window was refusing to speak to me and to see what I had wanted to order. People can go through in vehicles and Order no problem. People can go through the drive-through on a bicycle and Order no problem. But people that go through the drive-thru on foot because they are not able to drive their vehicle through the drive-thru at a certain time refuse to be served or even spoken to. This is the nicest Tim Hortons I have ever visited in Manitoba. I would HIGHLY recommend stopping in.

The atmosphere is great the windows are nice and clean the seats are comfortable. Just a beautiful pleasant place.

The donut shelves in the counter were better stocked than any Timmy's I have been to before. And they had a huge variety of donuts, even 3 specialty donuts that I have never seen before. Definitely worth the stop just for the specials and variety of donuts.

Finally the servce was phenomenal. A beautiful young lady was was friendly and professional and she quickly took my order and gave me the food and cofee that I had ordered.

This place definitely stands out. Especially when you consider that

(((((( the Iconic Canadian fast food coffee shop. Unfortunately it is not what it used to be. The coffee is not quite as rich as it used to be. But that doesn't keep me from drinking at least 1 a day.

Although a healthier option might be a steeped tea. Which are actually my favorite drink at Tim Hortons.

Tim Horton is still one of the best places to grab a quick bite to eat if you are in Canada. Because there is a Tim Hortons on every corner.

Sadly they are not being maintained anymore as an elite place to stop. And so many of the Tim Hortons now just have a gas station convenience store feel to them.)))))
