Really disappointed & have ordered my last pizza from this location. Iâve been ordering the same thing from PH when I lived in Wpg & then from Stonewall since moving to the area in 2019. It was always good and still is from other PHâs, but in late 2021/2022 the Stonewall one changed. For starters, the inconsistency is ridiculous - you never know what youâre going to get; smaller pizzas, burnt edges, not enough cheese or sauce or other toppings, etc. We decided to give it another try and got the same thing but barely any cheese but I got a credit when I called in to complain. Yesterday when we ordered I asked for Xtra cheese x2 and was told that due to the price increase in cheese, it was an extra charge (so two charges of $1.70-ish). Totally fine, I get inflation. When I picked it up, the cheese level was normal; not the double extra that I paid for. When I asked about it, a young blonde girl came out and explained itâs done on a scale and that xtra cheese is .5oz more. As per Google, 0.5oz is only abt 1/4cup of shredded cheese, which doesnât seem all that âextraâ at all. I asked why are the orders always inconsistent and she just shrugged her shoulders. Thankfully, itâs just this one location. I still order the same pizza when Iâm in the city and xtra cheese is xtra cheese. Maybe the Wpg scales are different? đ Either way, that was the last time. Theyâve given me a credit twice now for the same thing when Iâve called back, but I shouldnât have to do that. I order the pizza that we want, pay for the extra and itâs cheaply done. You shouldnât have to pay extra for cheese just to cover the pizza. Thatâs like ordering a hamburger but paying extra for the top part of the bun. From now on, it will be Dr. Oetkerâs from the frozen food aisle when we have a pizza craving until something better comes along. At least I know what Iâm getting when I bake...
Read moreHaven't eaten at Stonewall's Pizza Hotline in almost a year because last time it made us sick. Hoping for better luck, last night, we ordered the bacon cheese sticks. They tasted good, but the food made three of us have food poisoning. As I'm writing this I still have to make trips to the bathroom. The cheese sticks were the only thing we ate in the evening. I can't name any other restaurant that has made me and others around me sick more often than Pizza Hotline. I love pizza, and am not lactose intolerant. I have never experienced this from any other restaurant in Manitoba. I am now going to be filing complaints and letting the health...
Read moreI called to place an order for delivery. Lady could barely speak English asked me to repeat my order 3 times ( taco pizza) than placed me on hold for another 8 minutes while she looked it up ? It's one of your signature pizzas . asked me 3 times if I wanted regular crust ( it comes on thin) than asks me what toppings to top it off she had a bunch of dogs barking in the background and I could barely hear her over her dogs. I hung up the phone and went and ordered from the store directly. Horrible interaction with the call center I assume lots of business is being lost...
