I don’t even know where to start…

We had heard that the fried chicken was really good here so we were excited to try it. We ordered the 3 piece fried chicken special x2. I specifically asked before ordering if I could get all white meat and was told that it shouldn’t be a problem; but after putting through the order the waitress came back to our table and told us there would be an up charge on my chicken unless my partner had all dark meat. They made such a big deal about me getting white meat and brought me out 2 itty bitty wings as white meat? The wings were bloody and the bones were broken, they were so small with hardly any meat. My other piece was white meat but the meat was non existent as well. The chicken was so hard and dry because every last ounce of moisture was fried out of it due being way overcooked. My partner had 2 itty bitty drums and one other piece of dark meat. Long gone are the days that 3 pieces of chicken would fill you up because this particular plate was devoid of chicken. The fries made up most of the plate of food and they were skin on, dirt encrusted, rotten blackened ends. Not appetizing in the least. The only redeemable thing on the plate was the small ramekin of gravy… but one can hardly make a meal out of gravy alone.

No extras, comforts or effort was made to make this meal enjoyable… No extra napkins were provided. No wetnaps. No butter provided for the stale hard bun. The teeny tiny cup of coleslaw was laughable.

My partner snacked all night because the food portion was so lacking.

The ladies bathroom is terrible. You literally have to reach behind yourself awkwardly to get toilet paper that barely comes out of the dispenser.

The booth seating is so uncomfortable.

Our waitress was miserable. The cook or manager was miserable and yelling at waitresses so loud you could hear the entire conversation.

The whole experience was terrible and we have absolutely no reason to come back.

Edit: We foolishly did come back to try the pizza because a friend said it was better than the chicken and sorry to say their pizza is just as lousy! I don’t understand why you guys think putting pepperoni under the cheese is a good idea - that’s just gross! Don’t expect many toppings either, the amount of back bacon used was lacking in a big way. Cheese didn’t taste good, sauce was lousy. The crust wasn’t even good. Nothing redeemable in this...

We came in around 7pm on a Tuesday. There was one other table with 3 people there when we arrived. We ordered a couple orders of wings and a plate of nachos. We waited 45 minutes for our order to come to the table. Twenty minutes after our arrival some acquaintances came in and joined us at our table. They ordered a grilled cheese off the children's menu for a 5 year old. They paid $7.99 for a grilled cheese sandwich. Another ordered Shepard pie that came with 2 sides. She ordered the garlic bread and onion soup. Although onion soup was listed as one of the sides, they came back and told her it was no longer one of the sides. Another ordered a pizza. She had a couple of bites and said it was awful. All in all the service was poor and the food wasn't very good. I'm sorry but the new owners need to step up their game. I won't return unless the quality goes back up to what it used to be. I'll check reviews before I ever...

We've eaten here at least 50 times and most experiences have been very good. The borscht is awesome as are the onion rings and usually the pickerel is my go to favourite.

Tonight my son's cheeseburger was way overcooked to the point I had to take it out of the bun and cut off the hard edges so he could even eat it. Half of the burger was not only inedible, but almost impossible to cut (although with the butter knife as we didn't have anything sharper) I mentioned the burger issue and that my pickerel was also overcooked to the young girls on staff and nothing was done about it.

Bill showed up for the full price including the inedible burger. Everything else was ok to great, however I'm not impressed with the lack of interest in them fixing the problem or bill after it was mentioned to staff.I paid in full, including a tip as it wasn't the front staffs fault but rather seemed to be a cook and...
