Starbucks — Restaurant in Stony Plain

Jeannette is the worst! This Starbucks was the closest to the hospital where my mom was admitted. I went to get the nursing team SB. The young lady in the front was new and still learning. Jeannette was not kind to her at all. I ordered a tall Medium coffee becasue the Blonde was out. Jeannette started to fill up the dark roast. I kindly said, I asked for the medium. She rudely replied I will have to wait for it and threw the coffee in the sink... Not gently placed...but threw like she was having a hissy fit. I ordered PSL one with oat milk, Jeannette put whip on it so I asked her to redo it. She gave me total attitude and yelled at the girl taking the orders. I mentioned these coffees are for the Nurses looking after my mom and asked if I could still have that PSL instead of throwing it out to give to one of the other nurses. NOPE! I asked her if she could be a little bit more compassionate and NOPE! They are not allowed to give "free" coffees. The customers waiting in line were in shock how someone could behave like that behind the counter. Jeannette's behaviour was rude and unacceptable. P.S. My Pecan Crunch didn't even get any syrup in it...it is just a regular...

2022 update: Though the barista skills of the employees here have improved over time, I still stand by my original assessment.

It is convenient to be able to get coffee here when my favourite location (by Wendy’s) is closed (Covid has caused some strange things to happen with schedules, store cleanings, and people being exposed to someone sick), but I only do that in a pinch, when I have a migraine.

This location was atrocious for quite a while. Absolutely horrible drinks. But, then things were getting better, and they were making stellar drinks. Now, once again, things are back to horrible. Multiple times, I've gotten a 7$ drink with a problem. Either no expresso shots, no syrup shots or the wrong milk or no caramel. Literally walking out of there with a cup of hot milk, more than once.
