A&W Canada — Restaurant in Stratford

Ordered a chicken sandwich meal and a 5 piece chicken strip meal. Got a chicken sandwich and 5 chicken strips. Told the employee I wanted a meal so she tried to charge me for fries and drinks. Total $35. At this point someone else stepped in to correct the order. Meanwhile the sandwich and strips are sitting there. Finally I was charged $25+ for the two "value meals". Again we waited for the fries. They came and then someone decided getting the drinks would be a good idea. Finally sat down after 15 minutes to cold chicken one hot and one cold fries and surprisingly the drinks were cold. Absolutely the most expensive worst fast food meal I have ever experienced. I wished someone had stepped up to make things right but apparently customer satisfaction is not a priority with A&W anymore. I will not return to this...

This is my first time ever eating at a&w and I must say the staff as well as the food are excellent. Our meal came out to about $30 I had 20 cash on me and was going to pay the rest on my card however, mainly due to a bank issue even though I had the money, my card was declined three times. A very wonderful employee pulled out her wallet and cover the rest of our bill. I plan on coming back and paying back what I owe as well as get another great meal. We checked with our online banking and sure enough we did have the right amount of cash so hopefully not due to company policy we can pay back what we owe. Went through the drive thru, ordered 3 combos, they missed the fries from the one combo as well ad a drink. When I mentioned it, at the window they charged me extra for fries and once again did not give them to me. They said thank you have a nice day and gave me an extra drink. When I got home I realized that the bacon on the burgers was not cooked. It does not taste like A&W anymore. 3 combos that cost $60, I would have been better off buying the ingredients from a store and making it myself.
