Pino's Pizza — Restaurant in Stratford

Probably the worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant by far. We had a movie to catch at 7pm so we decided coming in at 5pm would give us plenty of time to enjoy eating without feeling rushed. Wrong. Upon entering we were greeted by an older woman who was in training. She was being trained by an extremely rude younger girl. Besides another lady and her daughter, we were the ONLY people in the dining room until we were just about to leave. Took 10 minutes to bring us menus, then another 10 to order our drinks and another 10 to even get our drinks and so on. Our waitress made it clear that she didn’t want to be there. When we finally got our food it was nothing special. The pasta tasted like it came from frozen dinners from the grocery store. While eating, we noticed that the woman and daughter who came in before us was waiting for the waitress to come back for around 15 minutes so they could get take out containers. Eventually a group of 4 came in and sat behind us and was having the exact same issues all the rest of us were having. After a few minutes they got up to get their own menus from the front counter and with no waitress in sight started talking amoung themselves deciding on another restaurant to go to. We sure hope they found another one!! We eventually got up to pay where we were again met by the kind older lady being trained and her rude trainer. The lady made a few mistakes with the cash register where the young teenager proceeded to get exceedingly frustrated. While paying, we saw the young girl look at the kitchen and notice that a pizza wasn’t cut so went on to slam it so hard on the counter we’re surprised she didn’t break the pan and went on to cut it aggressively. Never in my life have I not left a tip at a restaurant but I felt I absolutely couldn’t at this establishment, I didn’t want to give them even another penny if I didn’t have to. Pino's service in their dine in restaurant is almost non-existent. We decided to go to there after the movies on a Sunday afternoon for a small birthday party. I made a reservation a week earlier, yet the server seemed surprised when we came in. We only had an hour to eat our meal and I thought that would be plenty of time considering we only wanted a large cheese, a large pepperoni and a large Caesar salad with some drinks. After we sat down, we waited 15 minutes for someone to come to our table before I gave up and walked up to the counter to order our food. Our beverages arrived 30 minutes after we walked in and our pizza arrived 45 minutes after we got there. There was no proper time for cake or gift opening. I understand that the delivery service might have been busy, but it was only 4:00pm on a Sunday and the restaurant was completely empty when we arrived. I had to go up to the counter and find someone for every single request we had i,e. beverages, food, silverware for the salad and the bill. Maybe you find it impossible to operate as a dine in restaurant, or maybe you just don't care about your dine in customers? In either case please consider closing that side of things down and just do take out/delivery rather than disappoint people. I just wanted the kids to have a nice sit down meal, but we should have just gone to Subway across the street. We were only a party of 8 with very simple requests. Tall blonde waiter is absolutely rude waited over 10 minutes then said "excuse me" she replied with "YES!" we said " can we order some drinks" she said "IM BUSY!!!" Even though we watched her walk around and just do nothing for 10 minutes. We cleaned our table ourselves before sitting down as well. This will be the LAST time we come here . Also asked for coffee and they said no even though they have the coffee pot for perk coffee. This used to be our regular-ish spot anytime we wanted to go to the movies but definitely will be picking a new place now. Absolutely unnecessary and people wonder why people don't tip anymore customer service is horrible You should be asked what kind of drink you want within the first two 3 minutes We shouldn't have to ask for it and then be returned with rude attitude saying they were busy when they're literally just walking around doing nothing We cleaned our own table they're not even able to clean tables after customers leaved and they're still two other tables that are dirty at the very moment. I don't think I'm allowed to take pictures I know we're in a public setting so maybe I could but I definitely have no issues pointing her out if the owner would like to actually deal with this because I am talking to two of my friends and they said they had the exact same experiences and just for too shy to make a review about it so this lady is losing you guys business left...
