The staff work very hard to provide service. These days the ability to hire to have minimal staff to provide all the variety of food request is not possible to provide it in a timely manner. The best thing that they did was to close drive thru and walk in service only. The future suggestion from me is set up one cashier for Coffee and cold drinks only. The other cashier for food. Consider reducing said food items and make it simpler with more grab and go. Apps would be very helpful for these groups of people that can pre order and pick up...maybe have 2 people doing food orders rather it resting on one person. Burn out is clearly a big problem with the complexity of all food and drink order let alone what customers want to change and customize to their specific order request and idiosyncrasies. Setup heat station to keep food warm. Pet peeve....charging for double cuping I find very insulting as the sleeve replacement does not protect me against being burnt by the heat emmited from the coffee(especially. black coffee orders or Tea orders...as the rest of the cup leaves me unprotected/ the other issue with the large and extra large cups of coffee or tea is the easily collapse if you hold your coffee cup too tight. Just retrieving my coffee while driving ...out of my vehicle's cup holder that senerio happened that the cup walls collapsed with coffee everywhere including Hot coffee on me!!! Not Good!! Last peeve...why is it that staff are trained to carefully take out donut and muffins with a piece of wax paper ... avoiding touching or coming in contact with the donuts/muffins with their bare hands. While at the prep station Glazing and icing sugar is added and removed with their bare hands as the tools and techniques prevent the job being achieved in a timely manner. Why can't disposable gloves be used to simple be more health conscious especially. in a time when covid is still around and Flu season is just around...
Read moredrive through, order 2 exl coffee, 6 donuts, 20 timbits, requested a cup of the whip cream topping on the side, was willing to pay for it thet said they couldn't do this..yet every time I've went inside they haven't had any issue in doing so....l after a brief exchange of words between us and at my insistence that I would pay for 3-4 additional whip cream topping items they add to coffees etc etc they simply told me to drive up to window...once I got there, they told me the total and I had asked if that included the whip cream and they had told me that it did....my coffees were both black😯 not triple triple as requested, my donuts were not of which I asked,my timbits were again assorted not a certain of 2 flavours....then handed me my "WIPPED CREAM" WHICH WAS ONLY CREAMER IN A MEDIUM CUP AND MAYBE TWO TEASPOONS.....WHEN I REALISED THE MISTAKE, aTHE BEHAVIOUR OF SUCH EMPLOYEES THAT THEY WOULD PURPOSELY TREAT A CUSTOMER IN SUCH DISRESPECT..AND too LAUGH ,CLOSE WINDOWN, AND TURN BACK AS I WENT TO ASK AN ADDITIONAL QUESTION...during my MY NEXT VISIT, IN REGARDS TO THIS CERTAIN EXPERIENCE , they INFORMED ME TO Contact THE MANAGER HAVE A GREAT DAY BYE... COULDNT BELIEVE THEY TREATED A RETURNING CUSTOMER WITH SUCH IGNORANCE AND ONE THAT GOES THROUGH THERE NO LESS THEN TWICE A DAY...and is a regular none the less.....ready to boycott this location and drive across town simply to be given respect I...
Read moreMy husband and I went to the drive- thru window on March 21st at the Huron Street location. When we asked for napkins the young man at the window shoved a balled- up handful of them to my husband. When I tried to fold them in half I noticed that there was coffee stains on 3 of the 4 napkins.
Just to add to our amazing dining experience was the fact that there was mysterious bits of food flattened into the top of one pizza box and on the bottom of the other. We ordered plain pizzas and whatever was on the boxes had nothing to do with our order. A blob of what I suspect was mustard was also smeared onto the top of my box. I certainly didn't order mustard on my pizza.
Clean napkins and food boxes would have been lovely, as well as a thank- you from the kid at the window. If we hadn't been leaving town, I likely would have sent everything back.
Our pizza was ok, but the rest of the experience was far from great. I understand Tim Horton's is essentially fast food, but...
