Oriental Grill — Restaurant in Strathmore

I have normally had a very good experience with this restaurant, but unfortunately the past few experiences have been bad. The quality and taste of the food have gotten poor, there was one time when all of the vermicelli noodles were cut short and mushy. This time I ordered my food at 5:45, he told me 45 min, didn’t get it until 7. I could accept that except that one of the dinners was missing and all of the food was completely cold and needed to be microwaved. The bill total was 96$, and when I pay that much for 4 dinners I don’t expect to have to microwave it. I called the restaurant and the best he could do was I store credit for the next time I ordered for the missing dinner, well sorry but that doesn’t do anything to feed the child who’s dinner didn’t come. As for it being cold he said that he has no control over the cab how long it takes them to deliver he food, and allowing it to go cold. Actually you do have control over it, don’t use a cab and use and actual food delivery service where they have thermal bags to...

Very bright, clean, open space with lots of lighting, plants, and fun knick knacks. Baseball game was on but not too loud. Went with my senior parents on a saturday afternoon and we were surprisingly the only table in there.

A Friendly lady sat us immediately, and within minutes we had ordered. Shrimp salad rolls were to die for, and that peanut sauce? Holy smokes, so delish! Perfect with a pot of jasmine tea.

I had the chicken vermicelli with spring roll, and all the ingredients were very fresh and delightful. Chicken was thin sliced instead of cubed like other places...I actually much prefer the thin slices since the sauce has more surface to stick to (yes i load the hoisin and Sriracha on). Large portions, too.

Kudos to this place....just found my local vietnamese dish fix! Will definitely be back to...

My wife and I tried out this restaurant for the first time and it will be the last time. We ordered skinny noodles with vegetables, vegetable fried rice and a plate of vegetable tempura.
