Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Strathmore

Walked in to order and had to wait an exceptionally long time before anybody noticed me standing in front of the register. There was only one car in the drive-thru that was being served by one person while all the rest of the employees were just standing around talking. Once they finally noticed me, apologized for the wait, and then took my order, they gave me the wrong type of tea and didn't add the honey that I'd asked for. It was quickly corrected with yet more apologies once I pointed out the mistakes. The staff is nice, but rather inattentive unless you're in the drive-thru. I find it truly amazing that someone could walk in the front of the store and not be noticed for 5 whole minutes (and yes, I timed it). I'm sure the staff are lovely people, but every single time I order something, at least one part of my order is wrong. Every single time. Today, my coffee and daughter's iced coffee are literally syrup and completely undrinkable. Last time, my coffee unsweetened. The time before that, my BELT was an egg and cheese on the wrong bagel. Of course, I'm home or too far away for it to be worth going back. Every single time without fail, it's something. The amount of my money that has been literally thrown in the garbage because of this us mind boggling to think about. All 3 locations in Strathmore are awful and I'm just done. I love Tim Hortons when it's done right, but I'm done wasting...

In my over 2 decades of being a Tim Hortons customer I have gone to 100’s of different locations. Traveling across BC, AB, SK, MB and ON I have had some great experiences and some truly terrible ones. The thing is that the exceptional experiences are usually a surprise and a “one off”. This Tim Hortons in Strathmore has continually been A+ and so fast! Their standard of service makes all others pale in comparison, even if they are good.
