Sadly my review of this DQ has changed drastically. There is new ownership and it is obvious. There is no care for the customer service anymore. The food has gone so downhill I don't even waste my time anymore but the worst part is the treats are shameful to be part of the DQ brand. The last 2 visits my blizzards have been half a cup of vanilla ice cream. I mentioned it and asked them to blend this last order to the bottom of the cup but I still ended up with half a cup of vanilla ice cream. when your paying $8 for a blizzard (large) you would think they could make their most iconic treat. The Capachino moolate was made with chocolate so it was a mocha. The fries are not even cooked and cold. The chicken strips are more like nuggets not strips. What is going on. We are paying way higher prices now and you cut back on everything. Such a sad change. I left my prior review below that had been posted for years. Just so you can see how much of a change there has been in my opinion
This is the best DQ I have ever been too. The owner cares about all aspects of the business. The restaurant is clean and well cared for at all times. The staff is always friendly and they are trained properly to care for paying customers. Hands down the best DQ out of all the Calgary ones I've been to and especially beats the Chestermere location. That place is at least $1.50 higher...
Read moreOrdered 2 kids meals and some blizzards, one of the meals was a chicken strip meal for kids and I order to side a gravy with it. When I check the bags because you know you have to check the bags before you leave. So I asked him if I could have a dipping sauce for my daughters meal and they wanted to charge me for it!! Since when was a side of gravy an option instead of dipping sauce for a kids chicken nugget meal. I honestly had no clue this was even an option. So because I would have had to charge my card again for one dipping sauce I just said forget it. They wouldn't even give us a dipping sauce packet for the chicken strips. These are small things but let me tell you I will not be returning because of this small thing. It has nothing to do with the cost of the dipping sauce packet, it has everything to do with customer service and being a return customer. If you guys can't give a paying customer at dipping sauce for their chicken strips, there is something very wrong. Very unfortunate that I will be boycotting a restaurant because of a dipping sauce packet. There are many options out...
Read moreI visited this location this weekend for an ice cream cake. There was an employee who helped me get the cake I wanted as the freezers were roped off (for covid protocols). She was fantastic and very friendly. However when I was leaving as you had to leave through a different exit than you entered the store in, and it was my first time inside since covid I accidentally went to exit through the wrong door. The employee that made me aware of my mistake yelled at me that I was going to the wrong door and when I turned around to say sorry she was shaking her head and rolling her eyes. This is not the first ignorant encounter I have had with this employee as the last time she basically threw my cake across the counter at me. I made a complaint to the owner at that time and it's obvious to see that nothing was corrected! Obviously customer service is NOT for her! If it weren't for her ignorance this review would have been 5 stars as the other young lady...
