CoCo Bubble Tea (Central City) — Restaurant in Surrey

I would love to be able to give this place a better rating than this but the staff customer service is abhorrent. I love thw bubble tea here but I just could not believe how the staff blatantly refused a side order of pearls over "fear" of losing their jobs, even though I was like you have the option of charging for pearls because not every drink comes with pearls and it's an add-on that you pay for. So, I simply requested that they charge me for the pearls and put them in a separate cup for my 2 year old as he loves to eat them, but I was refused stating that they cannot do that and that the owner will get mad and cut our pay or fire us. If this is true of the owner, then you should be ashamed of yourself and you don't deserve to run a business but if that is just an excuse for incompetence, then you need to train your employees better as every other bubble tea place I have been to has been accomodating by just charging me for the extra pearls on the side.

The brown sugar pearl tea is not bad. Overall drinks are 3.5 out of 5. The staff are very straight faced and comes across rude. Or they look extremely nervous or stressed out with the owner lady watching over them like a hawk. She also snaps are the staff and make rude gestures. That's probably why the staff look unhappy all the time. They don't check your order properly. Got orders mixed up once and got the wrong order another time. Price is on the high side, 6.50 taxes in for a large which isn't a true large (CoCo sized). With customer service like that I'm not inclined to give a tip. The staff also purposely delay in giving you the drink if no tip is given. My friend and I tested this out multiple times. Lol. Will not go here as I regularly as I did, kinda tired of poor customer service and the meh negative vibes. You'd think for a newly opened store, they'd pay a bit more attention to...

I recently decided to try coco for the first time in a while! Let me tell you, their bubble tea is absolutely delicious! They have a wide variety of flavors to choose from, like classic milk tea, fruity blends, and even unique combinations. The tapioca pearls are perfectly chewy, and they add such a fun texture to the drinks.

Now, let's talk about their service. The staff at coco were super friendly and welcoming. They took the time to explain the menu and make recommendations based on my preferences. They made my drink to the exact order I wanted, with no problem it came out in less than 5 mins.

Overall, I highly recommend coco for their amazing bubble tea and top-notch service. It's definitely a must-visit spot for any bubble tea...
