Desh Punjab Sweets & Restaurant — Restaurant in Surrey

My experience at desh Punjab was unexpected I have been taking food out from this place for a while and this is by far me and my family’s worst experience here. Me and my sister both went out to get one rabri and 2 rasmalai she instead of giving me what I ordered she gave 3 rabris and she in the rasmalai they put rabri and a rasgulla in it! Like what? Who does that?! And as you can see in the photo no difference! They look the exact same! I bet you can’t guess which one is rabri and which one is rasmalai. And the next day my sister went in to confront the employee there and she had the audacity to lie to her face! She said rabri and rasmalai is the same thing and that’s how they make it! First time I ever heard that who mixes the two and instead of rasmalai a rasgulla who in the right mind does that?! And I don’t who this girl is her name is poonam I can’t say if that her real name because she said it with a attitude but her style of speaking to others like she’s born in canada but in reality she is obviously born in india. And let me also but the fact that the outside golgappe station has the most unsanitary cart ever! There were rats in the kitchen! I tried to explain to one of the employees outside and instead of her trying to do something about it she brushes it off and keeps gossiping with another employee. Like you got break time to be doing that right now you’re working! Totally would not recommend this place WORST and I mean WORST Indian...

Worse costumer service ever i seen after coming bc here no sence you order something and this idiot guys will give some thing else i order chicken and they give me fish which I don’t it be careful before your order this think#neverevereatfromthisshop

I am not able to reply i so i am editing in this on i have never price issue its not first time buying food for here, before aslo so many i got wrong food due to our third class customer service. Eg:- order non-veg noodle and i get veg noodle Order butter naan get tandoori roti 😂😂😂😂 etc etc and when we call to inform, you guys ignores saying Sorry all time , that you know answer for customer I order Chicken non-vegn plate Chicken how fish is possible lol which i haven’t order actually you dont have the enough food so you added fish instant chicken, not confirming with customer just doing by own, my whole food got waste due to you people. Instead giving reply’s me better is focus on your business to improving customer service, which more important. I want to start my tiffin but no chance and i will suggest strongly my know that its worst option in Surrey if you ever get hungry order pizza but don’t try form Desh punjab otherwise may be you need to sleep hungry a night, Thats my final response not replying to you anymore😂😂😂 Because i got that you are just Speaker 🔈 want to sound loud but don’t want...

I had a really great experience at Desh Punjab restaurant today. Hence, writing this review.

We have been going to this place since past couple of months after moving to Surrey.

They have one of the best ‘pani puri’(gol gappa) if not the best, in whole of Metro Vancouver. I have had pani puri standing there and have done take out several times. There jalebi and samosas are also very good. Jalebis are nice and crisp, while samosas are great tasting and less oily. I recently did a large order for Samosas and my guests were really happy with the quality and taste.

Today, I went in to have a veg dinner thali and the food was amazing. Naan was nice and soft & paneer was tasty and creamy. I also ordered Rabdi and Jalebi, which were again really great.

I’m foodie by nature and am never shy from praising good food & service.

One request to the management team of this place that please maintain the taste and quality of your food which is one of the biggest problem with most of the restaurants now a days.

Well, you’ll definitely have a lot more visits from me.
