A flower by the sidewalk. This cozy little store has great quality food and a friendly host, and they hold one of my favourite drink ever, Ayran! The lamb donair was delish and well made (I’ve often had donair where the pita just crumbles, that wasn’t the case here^^)

Edit: I had to remove one star because unfortunately I went there not long ago and I had one of the Ayran and it tasted sour and awful, not like it usually does. I had probably two sips to be sure, it clearly was not the usual flavour and was really bad. No biggie, sometimes beverages don’t hold well even within expiry. But when I asked if I could get a replacement the person at the counter said they were not allowed to do replacement nor refund for drinks because this is not their responsibility, being a drink they get from elsewhere as opposed to food they do in store. They did offer me food but I was really looking forward to a salted yoghurt, nothing else. I had similar happened at another store and they exchanged it...

I normally go to Donair Dude at New Westminster station before I noticed there was another donair place right at Surrey Central Station. I told myself to give it a go to see if the experience and taste would be same. Donair deal is definitely affordable. The food taste good too. But unfortunately as more I go and come to realized, they nice to you when you tip but not much when there is no tip. I Am big on great customer service, but if the experience is negatively and I see love not being put into my food. I'll definitely be not visiting the location again if it's based on tips. I've tip them few times of my visit and to notice such attitude, I'm out. I guess back to Donair Dude cause they got fantastic customer service and they make sure your food is prepared with love even if nobody...

I've been to the Donair Hub a few times before. I remember when it first opened, it had a different owner, I think from Turkey or somewhere. The food was good, and I gave a positive review back then.

Now, it's under a new owner, who I think has a couple of different locations in Surrey. The menu has changed slightly. One thing I've noticed is that if you go there in the evening, all the food is kept really fresh. No matter what time you visit, the meat is always fresh, and the vegetables are crispy and fresh. I don't know what they're doing differently. Perhaps they're just replacing the vegetables frequently.

Other than that, the food is really good, with reasonable prices and generous portions. I usually order the lamb plate, and it's always fresh and...

This place used to have the best donairs in town. Since new ownership, not only has pricing gone up, but the portions have shrunk considerably. They used to stuff the pita with contents. Now they just throw them on top the bread and roll it up. The pita is no longer toasted either. These guys bought a good business and will now run it into the ground. Good luck to them. I have been coming here for years, however, this will be my last visit.
