I cannot speak highly enough of the goods from this bakery. I implore you, if you like pakora, or samosa, and are even just passing through Surrey en route somewhere, please consider dropping by. Their samosa are light, crispy, folded from pleasingly thin pastry, and stuffed with quality ingredients. My wife and I, disappointed with our local providers, had taken to making our own (wonton pastry works well) but the Golden Samosa Bakery has given us new reasons to visit Surrey. <edit: October 2022, just had their butter chicken samosa for the first time - utterly corner-to-corner stuffed with fragrant chicken and spices - we bought a box on the spot>

Always had Golden Samosas— the best samosas around for the price but first time coming to buy them myself. They are absolutely delicious. You can buy frozen ( save the tax) or ready to eat. Vegetarian/vegan options and chicken and beef options too. Spring rolls, pakora sold as well. Friendly servers, patient and helpful explaining choices. Clean environment. No place to eat though. Just take out. Important to preorder if ordering anything other than plain potato samosas. I got lucky this morning and they had the mixed ones available although normally they require preordering.

Tasty samosas which make for a great addition to a potluck. Tried the beef samosas which aside from being quite greasy, had great flavour and texture. The potato and peas samosas were tasty too! They had an excellent blend of spices and a very soft, creamy, and fragrant flavour profile. Just wished they drained the oil off a bit more after frying and packaging them as the paper towel on the bottom of the boxes were quite drenched with oil and they would have tasted even better if the oil was dabbed off more.

Kinda like your favorite greasy-spoon diner, but for samosas. This location only preps veggie samosas; though beef, chicken, and butter chicken are available with a days notice.

As an avowed carnivore, I love their vegan samosas. Great flavor and spicing, with just enough lingering heat.

I'm almost ashamed to say I can disappear 10 of them over about 45 mins for lunch.

Not much for their chutney/sauce, but I'm not much for anyone's. Theirs is better than most though.

All said, amazing samosas. Took a box of 50 to one of my wife's job sites, and even the south Asian crew members said it was one of the better spots to hit up.

Just don't park in the fire lane in front of the store. I've heard the parking company hits it like it's their...

Fantastic samosas and pakoras at a great price! As far as my exposure to samosas has taught me, there are two main types - "flatter" ones that use a spring roll-like wrapper, and "pyramidal" ones that are wrapped in a thicker dough. Both delicious and I don't know enough about Indian food to know if they have different names, etc. - but I assume it's a regional difference. These are the "flatter" style, and are among if not the best samosas I've had. Light, well spiced, not greasy at all, and addictive. Their pakoras are definitely the best I've had, and I've eaten a LOT of pakoras in my life!

Pro Tip - they sell "half fried" samosas that you can freeze and then bake later!

Definitely...
