Ignite Pizzeria South Surrey — Restaurant in Surrey

I've had Ignite Pizza before from their Mount Pleasant location and found it great, so I was super excited when I found out that it was that Ignite Pizza coming to my neighborhood.

I was hopeful that the quality would be the same, but what I was not expecting was how insanely good their pasta dishes would be. We arrived the week of their opening and grabbed a table for four (two kids). They were running an opening week discount, so we ordered more than usual: two medium pizzas—meat lover and prosciutto—two pastas—wild mushroom risotto and strozzapreti pasta with wild mushroom Alfredo—and their meatballs. They gave us an order of arancini on the house. After that, we were told that they couldn't prepare the risotto tonight (likely because they were short-staffed to make that on order), so I ordered another serving of arancini.

The pizza was great. As good as what I've had at their Mount Pleasant location. The dough was solid and well-cooked.

But the pasta...oh my goodness, the pasta. The arancini was so good, as mentioned, I had to order another serving. I’ve never seen arancini breaded in a black coating, but it was served on truffle aioli, which was not overpowering. The risotto in the arancini was the mushroom risotto, and it was very well done. I'll be back for sure to try that once they're able to prep it.

The strozzapreti was delicious. I was told it was from Rustichella, which is one of my favorite pasta brands and just a sign of great quality. The meatballs were very good too—my daughter’s favorite. They're not your typical meatball appetizer where you get three or four large meatballs. These are small, about a dozen, with two pieces of focaccia (though I wish I had more focaccia).

Downsides: no beer on tap yet—they're still setting that up—and no dessert, but we were too full, and I'd bet that will be coming too. I cannot wait to go back. If this quality holds up, I have no doubt this will be an absolute gem in the...

Ignite Pizzeria is an amazing addition to the Morgan Crossing locale. The food was amazing. The pizza, the beer, the fries, absolutely great. My one complaint about the food was that the outer crust on one side of my pizza was unusually tough, much more than the other side, but nothing that wasn't solvable with some of the hot sauce they offer. This was especially amazing because not a moment after I ran into this issue, someone from the kitchen ran out and offered me their various sauces almost immediately, and that kind of service is something to treasure and look forward to. You can really tell that the staff, and I mean the entire staff, loves not just their work, but making their customers happy. That's Customer Service you find only once in a blue moon.

The food itself, in terms of price, is on the higher side for a pizza place, but I walked away satisfied I had gotten what I paid for. The quality was very high, and the portion size was perfect.

There are many vegetarian dishes available on the menu, and while for this visit I tried Pizza, I believe for my next I will be trying a pasta dish and updating this review with the results of that.

Ignite Pizzeria is a MASSIVE upgrade to the previous Pizza Business that was in the same spot. If you are in the Morgan Crossing area and want good, authentic pizza, go here. I will be returning to Ignite, with friends, looking forward to experience everything their menu...

Delicious Pizza, Great Vibes at Ignite South Surrey!

I visited Ignite Pizzeria in South Surrey last weekend and had an amazing experience! The location at Morgan Crossing is super convenient, with a spacious and modern interior that feels very welcoming. We sat on their sunny patio, which was perfect for a relaxed afternoon lunch.

The pizza? Absolutely delicious. We tried the "Giuseppe’s Choice" and the "Fresh Ricotta" — both were packed with flavor and had that perfect light, airy crust. You can really taste the quality in the ingredients. I also appreciated the vegan and vegetarian options on the menu, making it easy to dine with friends who have dietary restrictions.

One highlight was their house-made chili oil — such a great touch to add extra flavor. And the service was fast and friendly. Our server made great recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed.

Overall, Ignite Pizzeria in South Surrey is a gem — great food, great service, and a cozy yet modern atmosphere. We’ll definitely be...
