Does anyone even look at these reviews on here? Corporate, higher ups, not the managment from the location though. I was treated poorly, disrespected and called a F** B by a Manager, all while 5 months pregnant. We used drive thru and as everyone else's comments we were asked to park and wait for our food which I did. As we visit this location very often, we know that mistakes are always made, so we always check our bags. When a staff member brought us our bags, we checked and they missed one sandwich and two large fries. She left back inside and a Manager came out. She was already heated even before I started talking. She brought out sandwich and said we can go inside pay for 2 missed fries. I refused and said since it's restaurants fault asked for free and she refused. While I was talking she was interrupting me and rolling her eyes at me. I asked her to stop and she stopped interrupting but kept on rolling her eyes at me. I asked for a Manager she told me she was one. I said as a Manager your customer service sucks. She waived her hand and left. While she was walking away from my vehicle I said what a f.... b..... she heard, turned back and yelled "you are a f..... b......". She needs to be disciplined big time. I never came across a Manager that was so ready to escalate and add fuel to the fire rather than solving the problem in a professional manner in a situation like this. The fact that she had the balls to call me a f b back is beyond everything. I did submit a complaint to McDonald's corporate and I hope someone reviews their cameras to see what actually went down. I have two witnesses and bystanders who saw the whole thing.
Edit to my previous post: After my incident, I received an email from corporate, which was nice to know I was heard. I refused to go to this place for at least 3 months after the incident, but then decided to come back and see if there were any changes. Their customer service is great now, drive thru staff that takes orders are extremely nice, and I can feel each time I visit that I'm being treated with respect, and as a valued customer. Not once have we experienced anything negative. When they have us wait in the car for food, staff that brings out the bags is really nice. I normally ask if I can go through the bag and make sure there is nothing missing, no one has rolled their eyes at me, and tbh they answer "Yes, sure" with a smile. I have lived in that neighbourhood for over a year and every single time, not even kidding, every single time I go to this McDonalds I either wait excessively long times for my food from drive through, or my order is either incorrect or missing items....or watered down pop. The customer service is beyond lower than average and in desperate need of new management and leaders, along with better staff. I have worked at McDonalds and was offered Assistant Manager until I left for better opportunities. That being said I know what goes on in the kitchen and at the windows and the communication and coordination along with organization is completely chaotic. Just yesterday I paid for dinner for my 4 children, my husband and myself. My bill came to $50 and change, through the drive through. I had all 4 children in my car, 2 toddlers. I waited in the parking stall for 20 minutes before I decided to go in and ask about my order. When I went in there, I got attitude and EYES ROLLED at me by one of the Assistant Managers when I kept asking them to check on my order status as I have now been waiting for about a half hour on. She kept rudely advising me that someone is making it and to wait. I had to flag down a manager, to then ask for the 4th time where my order was. Then the drive through assistant manager came to me and asked me what my order was. Basically they deleted my order off the order screen. A large $50 order and no one could give me answers or tend to me until I had no choice but to start raising my voice and causing a conniption. I, a customer (thank god with McDonald's retail experience) had to advise the ASSIST MANAGER in order to get my order back, and refund me my money, he needed to re print my paid receipt from the drive through window, I was NOT going to repeat my order for the 5th time after waiting almost 45 MINUTES with children sitting in my car! 100% worst customer service experience I have EVER encountered after spending $50. Read moreI generally have had generally good experience with this McDonalds ordering mostly through the drive thru. I decided to do curbside pick up as I was really tired and hungry tonight after being up for 16 hours and working for 12 hours, so I wanted something quick before heading home.
I ordered 2 burgers and parked at curbside pick up spot # 3 at 859pm and ordered and checked in via the app in the same minute. It was very busy as it was a Saturday night so I patiently sat and waited for my food.
By 925pm, my food still hasn't arrived and I was hangry, so I went inside to follow up. I was told that "as you can see the order is ready but there was no one in the spot" and the person I was talking to themselves "checked to find no car parked in spot # 3," to which I said that I have been there the entire time patiently waiting for almost half an hour staring at that number 3.
The person then proceeds to throw away the order bag in the trash and says "we'll do [the order] again" without waiting for my response, which further irritated me because it means I have to wait for longer. I honestly would have taken the food to prevent food waste and I was now starving. I felt like I was dismissed and ignored as the person didn't even acknowledge my side and the fact that I waited that long for 2 burgers.
I waited another 10 minutes for the order to be made and I was on the phone when the order came and there were no apologies whatsover when the order was handed to me and I left the parking lot at 937pm.
Massively disappointed. Considering choosing another McDonalds to go to regularly now or just make my own burger from scratch if it means waiting 37 minutes for it...
