I recently got to try out a new restaurant, and I have to say, it was a bit of a mixed bag for me. Here’s what I thought:
Service: The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which really made the place feel like a family-run spot. I loved that vibe!
Food: I went with bulgogi beef, spicy pork, two bulgogi triangle baps, a kimchi spam triangle bap, and a spicy pork tofu cup. The food quality was impressive—the meats were flavorful and well-seasoned. However, I did notice that the fillings in the baps were pretty small compared to the bigger rice portions. A bit more balance in the portion sizes would really improve things. The meals were a great deal overall, but if the fillings are small, the baps feel a bit pricey. After finishing off the triangle bap, I was satisfied mostly because of all the rice. On the plus side, everything tasted fresh and was made to order, which was perfect for the chilly day!
Menu: I was really happy to see that the menu included a variety of Korean snacks beyond just the typical fried chicken and sushi. It was nice to explore more of the Korean cuisine I love.
Overall, this restaurant has a lot of potential to be a go-to spot in the neighborhood. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to dive into Korean food, and I’m excited to go back and try...
Read moreI finally got to try out this new restaurant and I was not disappointed so here is my review:
service: they were so friendly and welcoming almost like a family run restaurant style which I loved
food: wow I was actually surprised by the quality, portions, and price the best part was that it was affordable and filling. I was left with a very content feeling afterwards. I had the chicken bulgogi which is just a marinated chicken bowl and the spicy pork. Both had really great distinct flavors and seasoned with perfection! I particularly liked the sides that came with it for free because it really compliments the main dishes. The ingredients were good quality I thought and fresh and each dish was made to order so it was a warm meal on a cold rainy day.
menu: this restaurant offered a broad range of korean menu items that differs from the usual fried chicken or sushi which was great because I love trying new foods and know that korean food has more to offer than just that!
Overall this restaurant will definitely benefit this area because it was needing better food options and I would recommend 500% I think will be a neighborhood staple! Will be back for...
Read moreI’ve been here 2-3times already to buy their kimbap, and it’s always hits even when I tried different flavours. Today I decided to dine in here because I missed their kimbap but also ordered their other menu options as well. The food matched my expectations, I loved it every dish.
Food: The tteokbokki I ordered was spot on, I usually don’t like the rice cake but the rice cake here was yum. Kimbap didn’t disappoint of course, even the tofu pocket was good. I was shocked that the soup felt so comfortable, especially for a rainy day like today. Every ingredient was fresh, it has to by the taste of it. 😝
Service: He was so sweet and kind during my visit and also the lady I saw last time was also very polite, the food didn’t take long, maybe because I had company. Overall, Thank you!! come and support because this meal...
