Red Rose Restaurant — Restaurant in Surrey

Unfortunately I have had 2 bad experiences here in a row. I had heard good things about this restaurant but maybe I just have bad luck.

The first time I ordered from here was last Friday. Ordered online and set a time to come pick my dinner up. When my son and I arrived on time for our food we were told it would be 5 minutes.... followed by another 5 minutes. And finally followed by we will just bring it out to you when it's ready. When we got home to eat we found that both of our steaks were completely wrong and the shrimp was well over cooked. My son's steak was covered in spaghetti sauce from being put on top of his side dish.

I phoned and told them my issues and I was told I would have a credit on file for the next dinner. It was never specified what the credit was. I was under the assumption that a credit is for the full amount of the dinner.

We ordered again this evening thinking i had a full dinner credit only to be told its only a 30% discount.

my girlfriend had specified that she did not want certain items on her dish due to an intolerance and was told it was not a problem.... Sure enough, not enough care was taken and the items were on her dish anyways and it can not be enjoyed as it should have..

Super rude owner! Well, at least I assume it was the owner I was dealing with, but I'm pretty sure she was. I had to walk in and ask for some warm water because I had a screaming baby in the car awaiting formula. She told me in a very rude tone I could go to the bathroom (totally sanitary for a baby) and fill up a cup of water in there, even though she literally was standing beside a sink AND an espresso machine (which to me just topped the cake). I suggested the hot water from the machine with some ice cubes. She literally rips the cup from my hand puts in scolding hot water, throws two or three small ice cubes from some other cup in there, while barely saying a word. No, she was not busy. They had one table with three people eating their food and no, I did not come at a busy time. It was dead. I've passed this place a few times, but now I won't be coming by at all to try it. We booked for a group of seven and the table was placed was for six. The waiter was friendly and pleasant with Australian accent. He forgot about us, I had to go and call him to take our orders. The wait for the meal was over 35 minutes and when the orders came out, almost everyone’s orders were given to someone other than person who ordered the meal. Once we took the first couple of bites we realized he made several mistakes on four of the orders. He didn’t return back to check in on us for at least 10 minutes. By then a couple of us had eaten the burger and just left all the fries, then asked for unsalted fries which took an additional 15 mins. By then I was ready to leave restaurant and had lost my appetite. The lamb souvlaki was so red and under cooked, it was extremely chewy.
