The employees need better training overall. They take quite a long time with making orders (even small ones), even though there were no other customers in the store. There was 4 employees working yet it took them 15+ minutes to make two drinks.

Secondly, they did not state during the transaction process that I needed to pay for a bag… and each bag costs 25 cents? To me, that is ridiculous. It is a small, paper bag, which at most should be 5 cents per bag.

Saving grace is that the drinks taste good.

EDIT: the whole point of the bag thing is that it should’ve been either stated during payment process, stated somewhere in the store where it is visible, or given a choice paying for it. What happens if the person buying is from out of town? Not from Canada? Are you going to say, “you should’ve checked the City of Surrey website, tough luck.” I think as the owner, even if it is training and such, you should train them to be more efficient during the whole process.

Not everything is an attack; this was merely a critique of what can be improved on, and as the owner, you should take that critique and improve your store instead of having rebuttals and excuses on why such and such...

Previous staff that worked here were a lot faster and had better attention to detail. Seems like the new staffs have been make a lot of errors which made me have to wait almost 10 minutes to get 1 drink. They didnt seem that busy with orders because before and I came in, they were just in the back preparing other things (not drinks). Sharetea Surrey Central used to great, but it lacks quality and craftsmanship now. I used to love coming here for the student discount, but the Strawberry Ice Blended with Ice Cream is absolutely inedible. The slush is fake strawberry powder and leaves you with disgusting chemical after tastes in the mouth. The pudding topping I got was also not drained properly with half the cup being pudding water.
