I told myself today to check out this location for the first time since the company drinks and bakery goods are very good anytime being served on film sets Vancouver locations got excellent customer service to all walks of life. I regret stepping inside Surrey location today at 8:00 PM on 07/20/25.
A Caucasian female was friendly at first to assist me with my order but after reading the receipt and there was no tip I notice her attitude changed. An Indian female prepared my cafe frullato and went to assist other customers as my drink was blending which is understandable. But then the same Caucasian cashier purposely spilt my drink on the counter as a tall Caucasian male had a smirk look on his face. She thought I wasn’t looking and tried to serve the drink. But then realized I noticed what was happening and then she spilt it out to prepare another one. She used same contaminated cup to prepare another drink which I thought was for me but another customer were given same drinks with his girlfriend. Staff continued to serve more customers that came after me. When I asked “is anybody going to prepare my drink?” I was answered by the same Caucasian female staff cashier stating “I already called it.” Which is a lie. She never did. The tall Caucasian male looked at her to interjected stating “I guess that customer took it. Would you like a large? “ I informed him I would like my drink that’s on the order. They prepared me a large but it was already too late. I waited too long with my baby. The atmosphere and service was terrible. Poor hand hygiene. Cookie tasted old. Drink taste nothing like Vancouver locations.Overall I do not recommend this location.Take low reviews into consideration. If this is how all staff are at this location, Trees Organic needs to...

Thanks Trees for taking the time to read my review, hopefully i'm doing this right so you can see the updated one.
I have actually gone back enough times now that the staff know my order 😂 Just not my name 🤫🤭 There's additional staff and a few that I really like, although I still think there's something missing in regards to customer service, I can say it's a lot better. If it's busy, the speed is still not there but maybe a bit faster, they're very chill so I know to not have expectations.
Cheesecake is still good (Raspberry White Chocolate is my favorite) Muffins and Scones warmed up are also very good. Lattes are the best there compared to any other coffee shop nearby.
I've updated to 4 stars now.
PAST REVIEW:
1 Star for the cheesecake, that's it. I seriously think the people who raved about the service and staff are friends. Staff is not friendly, they don't even acknowledge you or smile and walk right past you like you're invisible even with eye contact, and that's when you're at the register! The barista saying, "Thanks for waiting" is NOT the same as saying "Someone will be right with you" or even taking my order instead. When my order is being taken, it would be nice if I didn't get the total before i've even finished, it's super annoying. They're also super slow any time of the day but especially when it's busy, it took them 25mins to give me 2 drinks and 2 slices of cheesecake and there were more than enough staff! From the day of opening till now, i've been there a few times and nothing has changed. They really need to work on their customer...
Read moreI came here on Sunday July 2nd around 330pm, this is my fifth time at the location.
I usually have a pretty good time here, and get good food and service. However, I came here with my friend and I ordered the Tiramisu cheesecake and Taro Latte iced, my friend ordered the Spanish Latte iced, and spinach scone.
I had ordered before my friend, and after several minutes I still did not receive my drink, but my friend had. When I asked for my drink the one barista said I hadn’t paid for it, and that they would need to charge me, but the cashier corrected her. I then received my drink.
However, the taro latte didn’t have anything special about it. It was just taro powder and milk and the taro was barely flavoured.
I went to request for a new drink and to pay the difference to get the Spanish Latte since the Taro Latte is $6.25 and the Spanish Latte was $6.50. But the barista who had spoke with me earlier said they could not do that. That I could keep my drink but I would need to repurchase a new drink.
I have managed several cafes in Canada and New Zealand and have never experienced this type of service where if a guest is unsatisfied with their drink that they are unable to change or make accommodations to the original drink. I had offered to also pay the difference.
I would like to say thank you to the cashier who was very friendly and seemed like she wanted to help me, but the barista interrupted her.
With that being said their cheesecake is great and I got to try my friends Spanish latte which was...
