Update: We returned for their Burrito special and we now know why this place is empty during dinner rush...balance is void here, the Burrito was barely a Burrito, it lacked pica de gallo,cheese, cilantro,beans,and had only a scant trace of beef or chicken, what it had too much was cabbage....waaaay too much cabbage and ratios were so bad that it had zero flavour, just a pile of cabbage. Streats needs 2 use balance and ratios. Every single table was dirty too and the cook needs to refrain from "banging" tongs super loudly against the flat top. It was so inconsiderate annoying and unnecessary. Music was cranked so loud ( I love loud music )it was distorting. This visit was a opposite visit from last visit. No check in from staff, nothing worthy here as this is def our last visit. Sigh...

Appy Trails, Brianm. Not at all a bad burger, but for my tastes I found their burger to be a one note flavour. I miss the freshness of a balanced burger with rich and fresh flavours from contrasting condiments and garnishes. We will return to try their burritos. Superb decor, very cool ambience,poor almost hidden location. Some of the best service though.Eager to help and genuinely wanting to ensure dinners have a good experience, they really seem to care about their customers experience so that alone has a ton of merit and bodes well for StrEats!

Tried this place for the first time, was super SUPER DISAPPOINTED!!!! It’s so close to my house so I was really looking forward to trying something new in the neighbourhood. My husband and I ordered a few things to try, the smash burger, a beef and fish taco and a Pierogi poutine. Right now they have the tacos on sale from $5.50 to $4.00 all month long. When putting in the order over the phone the lady asked for my name 4 Times as she couldn’t hear me and in the end called me Caroline.. When actually picking up the order the discount for the tacos we’re not applied on the bill we had to correct them in the end, once we got home we chowed down on our food and I found some type of casing or left over package in my taco!!! I had to spit it out because it was rubbery and disgusting! Overall food was not good the smash burger was $10.00 wendys taste better then this and it’s cheaper ! The fries were okay, but other then that I will never return Im just too turned off now and hopefully they can be more careful on how they handle and prep...

Terrible service! Ordered online for pick up at 5:45pm and didn’t get my food until an hour later! Even when I showed up at the restaurant, they kept telling me it would be 10 more minutes, but the food didn’t come until much later. They claimed their online ordering system had been broken all day. But they did nothing to fix it or block orders from coming through! The staff there were not able to compensate me (fair enough), so an employee gave me the owner’s number. The owner was NOT apologetic and said he was too busy at the moment to see what he could do to help. He said he would call us tomorrow, but he never did.

Overall, I had a terrible experience and would NOT come back again. Seems like the restaurant is poorly managed as many others had a long wait for their food.

Side note: ordered the gochujang bowl and it didn’t taste like gochujang at all, just extremely spicy - food is not great either.

I contacted the restaurant as they suggested so but never received a response...
