Placed an order thru doordash. Order went thru on app. Said food was gonna arrive in 30mins. Waited for a little over 30 mins then we receive a notification saying order was canceled becuase of "driver issues." A refund was gonna be issued as a result. Called the place and ask about order if we can just pick up since it was just a "driver issue." Food was not made at all and they said payment didn't go thru. Now, I don't know how it all communicates between the app and the drivers and the restaurant but who cancels who..if payment didn't go thru, why didn't the restaurant just call and tell us that payment didn't go thru to notify us. Instead of us waiting for nothing. Also, if payment didn't go thru, why are we being issued a refund. On the app, it did say our payment was processed. When we called the place just said that it cancelled but if we would still put an order we can but said they were closing in 15mins which wouldn't be enough time for us to order online again to have it delivered. Read moreI had one of the worst take out experiences today with Veer Ji Fish and Grill. I ordered a thali, and to my shock, the daal was completely stale and had a foul smell, making it unfit for consumption. After a long and exhausting day at work, this was the last thing I expected.
When I called the restaurant to express my concern, the response was shockingly dismissive. Instead of listening to what I had to say, the staff bluntly told me, “It’s okay, we tasted it here and it’s fine.” No apology, no concern, and no resolution — just sheer arrogance and complete lack of customer service.
It’s incredibly frustrating and disappointing to spend your hard-earned money on food that is not only inedible but is also met with such pathetic and unprofessional service. At 12 PM, after a tiring shift, I simply didn’t have the energy to argue with people who clearly don’t value their customers.
This is absolutely unacceptable and reflects extremely poor quality control and customer care. I will definitely not be returning, and I will be advising others to avoid this place as well.

As someone who frequently dines out and orders in, this was by far my worst experience.
I ordered two medium-spicy Hariyali Chicken Tikkas and two Papri Chaats as part of a buy-one-get-one promotion. Unfortunately, the quality was severely lacking. The Hariyali Tikka, traditionally a tandoori dish, arrived drenched in an unappetizing, artificially colored sauce that was completely tasteless. It looked unappealing and was nothing like a proper tikka.
The Papri Chaat, listed at over $13 per serving, was equally disappointing. It consisted only of chickpeas and stale papri, missing key ingredients like fresh onions, potatoes, and cilantro. The portion size was also underwhelming.
I would rather pay full price for one dish and receive quality food than take advantage of a promotion that compromises on taste and authenticity. I highly recommend the restaurant visit reputable establishments to understand what proper Hariyali Tikka and Papri Chaat should look...
