Arrived for lunch. There was 2 groups of people ahead of me. One was for takeout...the other group of 2 was seated after a few mins. A husband and wife walked in a few mins later...they were quickly greeted and shortly after seated. At this point as a 6 foot 250 pound man in a yellow hoodie has yet to be greeted. The waitress and manager who all walked up to the front greeting area multiple times never even acknowledged my presence. A customer actually noticed me before any staff...keep in mind this is after 3 to 4 party's were seated before me. the waitress finally said something to me...that was after being in the business for 12 plus mins. I politely said I don't want to seat and asked for a manager. After another 5 mins of waiting I called the business and was put on hold. The manager quickly answerd the phone. I asked him to please come to the front and acknowledge the man in yellow and hung up. He approached me and said hello. I spoke softly and calmly and showed him the stopwatch that I started after the first couple was seated. Which was close to 13 mins. Keep in mind this is after 3 to 4 other party's had need seated before me. Let alone greeted. He was immediately on the defensive...I never swore or raised my voice in any fashion. If he claims anything otherwise it is not factual. He physically withdrew a step back with hands in the air... commented about my attitude. He never listened to anything I had to say or be open to fixing or improving his staff or manager skills. He asked me if I wanted to be seated I politely declined. Even after the waitress finally said hello to me and I asked for a manager they still continued to seat other people. I am currently writing this review as I continue to sit in the waiting area. The manager who I once saw at the front area multiple times is now no where to be seen. He was kind enough to suggest I leave a review and post what I wanted to. So with his permission and or blessing this is what I am doing. It has been at least 15 mins of typing this review while inside this business. Still have yet to see this manager on the floor. If you are 6 foot tall 250 pounds and wearing a yellow hoodie you will not get seated or any service. Please avoid this business. He just walked out and said he could talk to me now in a friendly manner. He was very nice just now. Maybe the fact I have been sitting in his business for 20 mins typing this review plays a factor...or was it cause I just grabbed the manager business cards off the counter and took a photo of them. I politely declined with a no thank you. Once again avoid this white spot at all costs. Go to the 711 for a hotdog instead.

Read moreI’m a frequent customer of White Spot Panorama for dine and take out. In the past, I have been very satisfied with their Service. I like their location, staff are very nice and accommodating. I don’t know what had happened in this location but something changed. The way the service is getting from bad to worse. Twice I experienced horrible pick up service.
The first one happened few weeks ago and could not remember the exact date. I was put on hold for a while for the order to be taken which was fine by me. When I got a hold of someone, staff on the phone Apologized for putting me on hold for awhile. I said it’s okay thinking they were busy and since I am a frequent customer, I didn’t mind putting on hold for awhile.
When we got home, they missed the order for garlic bread I ordered which I was charged for. I called and told the staff. Staff was apologetic and even asked for my address to send me some sort of coupon for the inconvenience. I told the staff that I don’t really need the coupon. What I was trying to convey was that it’s frustrating that the fact that I was put on hold for awhile yet the order is still wrong. I tried to be understanding of it, did not make a fuss that I was hold for awhile. But the message that I was trying to come across is to do better. Which this male staff sassily replied, “ I am sorry that this happened and next time we will make sure we get your order right.” I let it go. It’s too bad that I couldn’t remember exactly what time and date it was. I told myself, just let this one go so I didn’t file it in my brain.
Tonight, against my better judgement I tried to order for pick up again hoping against hope that it will be better. I ordered and was told the food will be ready in 20 minutes. I called before 8 pm and did not get to the restaurant until 08:35 pm. To which the food is not still ready and we still had to wait for 10 minutes for it to be all good to go. When we got home, the chicken in fettuccine pasta is not even sliced. Like I said, I am a frequent customer and have ordered countless times of this order so I know the chicken is cut up.
Now, you might ask, “why did I just waste my time to write this long review?” Because I hope someone from management will see this and I am hoping that something can be done to make it better. If the staff are needing more help and assistance, I hope it can be extended to them. I’m a frequent customer and I like this place and the staff. So, I am not writing the review to criticize but for things to be better. It will be a shame if this kind of service continues on since White Spot Panorama is a staple in the community. Today Nov 22nd at 3pm I came into White Spot with a friend. We waited over 7 minutes at the front to be seated. NOT A SINGLE EMPLOYEE IN SIGHT. This has happened once before to us as well in the past. There were max 5 guests at the restaurant at this time it was quiet but Ive never seen a restaurant that has a sign that says please wait to be seated than make you wait that long. It was so bad my friend walked to the back near the kitchen before someone came finally came out and seated us.
After apologizing the young lady brought us our water and menus and told us our server will be with us shortly. They even brought a plate of fries (albeit somewhat cold and under cooked) as a nice gesture. Our was placed around 315pm.
We waited over 25 mins for 2 burger meals. Not once after placing our order did someone tell us about delayed wait or check our table for drinks etc. Finally at 3:45 a full half hour of placing our order my friend asked the same lady who was nearby how long our food would take as not a single other customer had entered the establishment since we had arrived. It does not take over half an hour to make a burger and fries.
The manager comes out and aplogizes for the wait and brings us our food. I should have recorded or taken pictures of the food. Without any exaggeration the burgers were over cooked and buns were burnt and rock hard. We told manager at this point this is unacceptable and is said she wpuld comp our entire meals which we declined. 3:48pm we walk out the restaurant. Not a single proper explanation or proper apology.
