My recent dining experience at the White Spot in White Rock, BC, was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I entered the establishment, I was immediately struck by the ambiance, which was a harmonious blend of modern elegance and understated sophistication. The lighting was artfully subdued, casting a warm and inviting glow over the immaculately clean and meticulously organized dining area. The seating arrangement was spacious, allowing for a sense of privacy and intimacy, while still maintaining the vibrant buzz of a well-frequented, bustling restaurant.
Upon being seated, I was promptly greeted by a staff member whose demeanor exuded professionalism and an unwavering commitment to exemplary service. Every interaction was polished and courteous, and it was clear that customer satisfaction was paramount. The waitstaff demonstrated an impeccable knowledge of the menu, offering insightful recommendations and showing an almost encyclopedic awareness of the dishesā intricate ingredients and their potential pairings.
As for the culinary offerings, I was beyond impressed by the diversity and creativity embedded in the menu selections. I opted for the Legendary Burger š, an iconic choice, which arrived as a culinary masterpiece, perfectly presented and meticulously crafted. The patty was succulent and flavorful, seasoned to perfection, and its texture was sublime, a delicate balance between tenderness and a satisfyingly slight crispiness on the edges. The amalgamation of fresh ingredientsālettuce, tomato, and their signature Triple O sauceāelevated the burger to new gastronomic heights. The flavor profile was both complex and well-rounded, offering a symphony of tastes that danced on the palate. The fries were nothing short of etherealācrispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the insideādelivering the perfect complement to the main course.
Throughout the dining experience, the atmosphere remained convivial yet serene, striking the perfect balance between lively and relaxing. I was particularly impressed by the timing of the service; each course was brought to the table with precision, neither rushed nor delayed, allowing for a thoroughly enjoyable and leisurely dining experience.
In summary, White Spot in White Rock, BC, surpassed all expectations in every conceivable way. The food was exceptional, the service was impeccable, and the ambiance was the epitome of refined comfort. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a dining experience that transcends the ordinary and ventures into the realm of the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst Time Here - WORST Service Ever Experienced in Vancouver. It was a beautiful sunny day today and I decided to make a trip to White Rock's White Spot. Spoiler alert! The food was mediocre but the service was reprehensible. Result: Afternoon ruined.
Stopped at the White Spot in White Rock with a friend for brunch. Should have been a red flag that a customer was at the front complaining about the service while we were were waiting.
Ordered soup as an appetizer and a brunch item. Because of my work location I am usually in White Spot (Not This One) about 2-3 per month. From my experience soups are usually out in about 3-7 minutes. After about 15 minutes I inquired about the soup. The server (a twenty-something, tall, tattooed, bald headed fellow). In a very snarky voice responded, "I don't know...I can go to the kitchen and make it myself." I thought he was joking so I laughed said no that is not necessary, just check with the kitchen for me. The young man doubled down on his original comment, smirked and said in a very condensing tone. "No Sir, I don't mind doing that for YOU, I will make your soup" I was absolutely stunned. I have worked in Customer Service for many years. Regardless of what you are thinking you always maintain your composure. My expectation would have been. "Sorry for the wait, I'll check for you." That is all that was required in this interaction. This was an unforced error, and not necessary. I listened to this employee's interaction with other tables and there was an equal level of incompetence in all his interactions. This fellow is working in the wrong field. I am kicking myself now for not walking away right there and then. This location will not be getting any business from myself or anyone I speak to. The server appeared to be new at his job. My advice to the management --hire for attitude, you cannot train...

The restaurant was more than half empty. I am very tall and not tiny. I have scoliosis and could tell immediately I couldn't sit there without pain. When I stood again at the hostess desk to request a roomier and more comfortable spot I was offered a high table in the lounge. I didn't want to sit in the lounge at all. Anyway wasn't offered anything else so I left. I still need food for my meds but I guess that won't happen here. So much for treating myself. Im so disappointed. Whats next White Spot making seniors stand to eat? There is no reason I can fathom to turn away paying customers to keep tables empty? A smile might soften the blow though, not the too busy to help customers I've encountered on several occasions there. Not a good place to have a meal anymore...do yourself a huge favour and go to IHOP instead for excellent service and consistent food and value.
Ordered delivery a while ago and the company (not white spot) mixed up orders and delivered the wrong things. White Spot not only told me to enjoy the wrong order, but immediately remade my original order and the manager delivered it within 20 minutes to my door, fresh and hot! And guess what? Inside was a coupon for a free burger... Ive ordered from here a few times since and even got a free desert once!!! Really love this place. They know how to do business. Thank...
